Nice work! My husband and I need to redo our bathroom that was poorly flipped by the last owner. Looking forward to saving money like you 😅. Thanks for sharing your costs abd experience with new (to you) tools and techniques!! Its helpful.
Good job. I think you faired pretty well. Tools aren’t cheap and they will be available for the next time you do the next tile or plumbing work. I used the schluter system with the foam pan which saved a lot of time instead of having to do the sloping yourself. Saved me time and worry. Looks like you did the pan well though.
Saved yourself about 7k-10k doing all that yourself at minimum, so seems pretty worthwhile! Turned out excellent. Shower pan has leak potential as I didn’t see corner guards added, schulter systems require 3” overlap minimum with kerdi seal otherwise to prevent. Hopefully no issues for you though!
Sounds great, thanks! The shower pan material goes up the walls about 3 inches and I tucked it into the corner so there are no cuts. Do you think it would need another layer of seam tape above that?
Awesome 🤩
Thank you! Thanks for the support 👍

My pleasure, thanks for watching. Lookup "thetilecoach" on RUclips, he was a huge help with the tiling portion.
@oarDIY thanks! I've long subscribed to him as part of my research. Looking forward to more of your videos 🤗

Not too bad on costs!
Thanks for the input. I'm curious what it would have cost if I hired it out.
