I love canned chicken or canned hamburger meat. I agree, having it in the shelf and quick dinners really helps and saves time. When we went through hurricane Ian ourselves, having some of those staples in the shelves and using a little gas burner, we were able to cook outside under the linai and we had hot meals everyday. We were blessed, we just had it on our pantry for convenience and storage ease when we found items on sale. Good video thanks for the information I. The all American. I have the larger one but have never used it, I have a glass too and read you can't use it in glass top. The larger one that is. Very information 😊
Thank you for posting this. My MIL got me a shiny new pressure canner for Xmas and I have hemmed and hawed about actually using it. I think chicken would be a good place to start. You make it look so easy lol.
Thank you! The chicken is very straightforward. However, I might suggest some food items with a shorter processing time so you can learn your canner, and your stove. Broth is a great one! You can make your chicken or beef broth (stock) and process it. Whereas the meat is processed for 75-90 minutes, the broths are 20 -25 minutes. It helps learn the canners, and it still puts great items on your shelf. You'll love it! Happy to inspire you!

I would check manufacturer on the big canners, for sure.
I love canned chicken. It has revolutionized my eating. 😀
This was on my list to try out…thank you for sharing.
You're welcome. We appreciate your joining us. It's like the best addition to the pantry shelf ever right alongside the BBQ pork!

When done properly, canned goods are 1-2 tears.
