I love how real you are Deborah, I’m currently in the same season, tired of the warfare but resting in the Word of God, listening to few secular songs after cutting them off for over a year, just tired of the paddling… truly we are one body (the body of Christ) but I sincerely appreciate how real you are for sharing with us your thoughts, experiences and not giving us listeners a false impression that you’re perfect. Cause that could pressure some to think “oh I’m not perfect like Deborah who preaches on RUclips” you’re so relatable, I’m glad to know that regardless of the tiredness or thoughts of the flesh, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STILL AT WORK IN US! Wauw I’m so grateful to hear that opening up about things like this is helpful in some way and that it shows that we truly are in this together as children of the most high. The enemy will always come to accuse us through seasons like this that we’re not good Christians. He’s such a liar! Seasons like this come for most us of, we should see them for what they are: spiritual warfare! So we can fight with the word of God, and know that this too shall pass in Jesus mighty name. I remember a pastor saying “Demons work in cycles of rejection, that’s why we find people saying the same thing word for word.” That's why the children of Israel went around in cycles for 40 years. We just need to ask the Lord to cut off the dead branches in our lives so God can give us his promises 🕊️🕊️🕊️🔥🔥🔥

Spiritual warfare is real and it is SO SO DIFFICULT. It's a constant battle and of course, there are times when I felt on fire and strong but I won't deny that most of the time, I can get easily discouraged and just went back to my old familiar patterns just because it's easier to just give in than to fight. But then it made me ask myself, is this walk with Jesus not worthy for me to fight that I would just give up? Certainly not. This fight is surely difficult and it's never meant to be easy and that's where our relationship with Jesus is emphasized. If it's easy then we wouldn't be feeling the need of a savior.
For when we are weak then we are strong. And I always tell myself that even if I am weak, I will continue fighting because He is my strength.
I am praying for everyone in this spiritual warfare. Please pray for me as well🙏

When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and everything that’s ahead it will help us to keep fighting through the power of the Holy Spirit. I will keep you and all of us in my prayers. That we may keep running the race God has marked out before us 🙏🏽🙏🏽
One thing that’s helped me when it comes to not feeling like reading God’s word when my heart is troubled or going through spiritual warfare is this thought: There is something so good waiting for you in the Bible that the enemy is trying so hard to keep you away from it … so read it! That helps me to put things into perspective and I pick that book right up! Thank you for your encouraging words in this video Deborah!

Perfect timing . I was feeling so drained leaving church even crying and feeling like I don’t belong in the church , Because I’m shy and Awkward and the only one saved in my family. I felt something choking me as I drove to church and like my heart was going to stop immediately at church it went away 😢❤ and I praised Jesus 😢❤

My social anxiety and and awkwardness does the same. I always feel so inadequate and are reminded of the past failed encounters. It’s so hard to step out of the house and go anywhere people are
@@ledwards3311 we are the same. I feel so worthless and I can't do anything for God except singing and aside from that, I can't share the gospel. It's been heart wrenching but I believe God has been telling me to focus on Him and how He himself is enough for me 💐, lies from the enemy can really discourage our hearts. But let us take heart, for Jesus already overcome this broken fallen world 💖

The Lord has given us all different personalities and being shy is not a disadvantage :) I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you in this, that he will let you know that there is space for you. I'm not really fighting anymore... I'm tired and so so lazy. Lust had captured me (but expecially in thoughts). I am also listening to secular music and I can't/don't want to let go of it. I'm drifting myself away from God more and more everyday and I'm scared that one day I wouldn't even want to be with Him anymore and blasphem against the Holy Spirit. Drifting away from God is so easy but going back to Him is so soo hard. I don't really know how to do it and if I do, I don't know what to do after. I'm feeling so helpless and hopeless... Please help me to have the Joy of the Lord back to me again. I don't know what to do anymore (and btw I'm a 15 years old girl). Love you girl ❤
Sis I get it. The feelings are so real. Start by giving that to God. He already knows how you’re feeling so talk to Him about it. I am a testament that even when you don’t want to be close to God and obey Him, that’s not the time to shy away from Him. Cry out to Him to give you His desires. Let Him change you and change your heart. And don’t stop praying about it, even when you feel like He hasn’t heard you. I promise that He hears you always and He has a plan for you even when you don’t see it or feel it working

Actually god does want us to remember all the things he has gotten us through . .. it is biblical. If we don’t read the Bible it’s easy to fall into a wrong perception of god . The Bible says my people perish from lack of knowledge.
@@justmawri not saying to never look back on past endeavors and encounters but to not dwell there. Once you come to God and accept him as your Lord and savior he makes you NEW it is in the Bible as well. I think it depends how you are taking the statement🙂

Wow! I know the Holy Spirit is here because this Faith Talk completely resonates with me. The spiritual warfare has been absolutely insane the last couple of weeks. I was in bed for a week because I was tired of fighting. What got me out was having a Christian community to pray over me and The Holy Spirit PULLED ME OUT!! Having a Christian Community is SO IMPORTANT!!! We are not meant to do this life alone. Don’t let the enemy trick you into thinking you are better alone! God looked at Adam and said “it is NOT good that man be alone!” 🔥🫶🏾🙌🏾 Holy Spirit, thank You for Your TRUE comfort. Thank You for combating our flesh with the TRUTH 🙌🏾
I saw this earlier and scrolled past because this last week I was really in warfare with attacks of despair because of financial deadlines of school fees to the point that I got to a mind space where I envisioned getting sent back home because I wasn't able to pay. At that point, I was like Nope! Surely, God didn't bring me this far for it to all fall apart.🥺
Spiritual warfare is 100% real, but we have to be mindful about giving the enemy too much credit. He "loves" acknowledgement, even when it's for negative reasons. Sometimes unwanted things happen. The enemy jumps on EVERY opportunity to war against us. Our disappointments and challenges present opportunities for him to attack us, but not EVERY single mishap in life is CAUSED by a spiritual attack.
Sometimes, bad things happen because of an attack, sometimes bad things happen and THEN we are attacked. It's a matter of discerning cause and effect, recognizing that the enemy is not to be credited for everything (i.e., sometimes it's our flesh or weakness, sometimes it's the consequences of our faulty actions or decision making, sometimes it's gravity or some other natural law, sometimes it's part of the God-glorifying plan to refine us).
Let us not be ignorant of the fact that we have an enemy, but focus our attention on what God is doing, more than we focus on what the enemy is capable of. What we must not do is fall into a state of fear or anxiety. Give God the glory. We magnify whatever we focus on. 🧡

I agree, not to long ago, my daughter cats was bothering me so much her cat was crying and being loud so annoying and it was frustrating me. I wanted to give the cat away but my husband let me know it isn't the cat it's the enemy using the cat to get to me. So we prayed over the cat ( sounds crazy but we did ) and reboke any demons that using the cat to provoke me and in the name of Jesus ever since that day the cat is normal she don't cry anymore or isn't loud she a sweet normal cat now. Yes it's all spiritual we got to reboke in Jesus name and cover ourselves with the blood of Christ !

Oh My God Deborah! This is perfect timing. This season in my life is a season of rejection and losing almost everything I have except my health. God has been talking to me through your videos how he is shifting my life and using this wilderness season to take me to a new season. But this past few days has been a bit hard. Not gonna lie. Especially after hearing another rejection from the last college I applied to for grad school. I am not sure where life is going to take me right now but the warfare has been strong. So true when you said “ Misery needs company”. I have been battling to go back to some old habits to comfort me since everything around me is crumbling down. I have been putting some excuses trying to convince myself why I have been dealing with it more than usual lately. But now I thank God for showing me the real deal. You are right the fight is not with the flesh and blood but the spirit. Please keep me in your prayer for God to give me strength in this season as I believe what he has for me is wonderful and will reap with due in time. God bless you. I recently went through a dark time where I felt despair and believed that nothing would change. However, every time I went to God to ask for forgiveness, He gave me new hope. Now, with God's help, I have come out of that dark time, and the old temptations are gone completely. God wants this for all of us. He is with us, lifts us up, washes us clean, and loves us wonderfully because He sees the version of us that He created us to be.

Yesterday, my laptop screen broke and I can't explain how it happened. I felt like it was a test to discourage me because I'm not working and won't be able to pay for it anytime soon. However, after watching this video, I realised that it was an attempt to weaken my spirit but I felt peaceful knowing that God will provide.
Oh sis I know how frustrating and discouraging it is when these unexpected things happen in ways that don’t even make sense! But it’s 100% the enemy coming for you peace. I pray in Jesus name that the Lord will provide finances to get your laptop fixed!!! Expect the Lord to show up because he will. “If you know how to worry you know how to meditate” THAT PART. Your videos are always so timely! I’ve found myself focusing on issues and situations or creating scenarios in my head that aren’t even real, all because I worry too much. I know in my heart that God will handle everything, and I pray that I learn to cling onto Him and His word for truth, and take captive of every thought that enters my mind.

I watch a lot of anime, despite what people say, I think it's really beneficial
When I watch anime just casually, and me having read the Bible a lot and meditating on it, I can see most of the stuff thru the lens of the bible, so whenever something happens, good or bad I can connect that with the Bible. And it actually reinforces what I've read in the Bible
Same with music, I've been listening to keshi us on repeat for the past couple months and I find a special comfort because I think of the lyrics in a way that's psalms like
Some songs are negative, but so are psalms but then it becomes affirming, and I like the song because it has some affirmation
Psalms is very important because it shows people venting and I just wanna say that we need these kinda things sometimes whether you listen to a song or you talk about your struggles with your friends (which is essentially the same thing)

It’s so amazing how the holyspirit just reveals our truth to us in different areas .I have been in a season of pruning and feeling I am not good enough but messages like these always help me know God is working and he’s with me.please pray with me to keep praying and holding on to the word and promises
have you ever noticed how you will step away from screens and social media and be inspired to create be inspired to exist then you return to screens and social media only to feel "motivated" to do what someone else is doing or reminded of a "false desire"
Wow, this showed up on my recommended at the perfect time!!!! I’ve currently been struggling with a lack of motivation. It just feels like I’ve been tired for so long, sometimes it’s incredibly hard to resist the enemy. This video was an amazing reminder that God has great plans for us, and how the enemy uses misery to try and stop us from entering our promise land. God bless, I love your videos 💖

Deborah, thank you for your obedience. Thank you for your persistence through warfare, still continuing to post and speak on Jesus’ living word even when the enemy is actively trying to convince you that your voice doesn’t matter. Let me tell you something the only reason He is expending all this energy to silence you, is because he sees what the Lord is doing through you and how He is using your voice to glorify the kingdom and strengthen your brothers and sisters. Your videos have been so so helpful during my season of warfare. It used to be so easy to pick up my bible in the morning, now I experience a lot of internal resistance and excuses, so in order to jump start my morning and encourage myself to start with Jesus, I start with your faith talks, it then softens my reluctance and I am able to then pick up my bible. Fellowship is so so important. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord and His kingdom.
This is insane, because I literally had a conversation about this whole topic with God this morning. I initially used the word "pulling away" to describe my journey with God/faith, but I quickly corrected myself and said I'm drifting away. Pulling away is intentional, whilst 'drifting' unnoticably happens, until one day you notice that you are falling back into old habits . That's when I started speaking to God about finding comfort in old habits. I admitted to God that it was more comfortable and easy seeking comfort and soothing through social media and other platforms, over Him. But I prayed/ conversed to God that he should help me strengthen the habit of seeking him when I become weak ...to the point it just becomes second nature. Now, this evening, I decided to listen and watch your video, only to discover an alignment and understand that a spiritual battle is happening... WOW. God is Good.

I am currently going through deliverance of my mind and it is not easy but whenever the attacks get real, I know i am closer to my breakthrough. Earlier in my day I had severe thoughts of me being inadequate or me not being at the right workplace, I had to remind myself thatGod our father sent me there for a reason and that I am more than qualified. The spiritual warfare has been more intense these last couple nights. I swear , he's been getting louder ever since I started to take my connection to God seriously. Lord have mercy 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi Deborah. I started listneing to you podcast about a year ago and it really encouraged me to get closer to God. I read my Bivle every day and feel lost if i dont. Right now I am in the same session. I have not opened my Bible in a week and have just been feeling like I am not enough. And my spirit has been yelling out for help.
I was watching Daily Disciple’s video about the same thing. I know so many are dealing with this and it’s comforting. Gods grace is sufficient! 🤍 His Holy Spirit carries us, intercedes for us, and keeps us as we submit even in our weaknesses. Hallelujah
This was amazing. I have dealt with the exact same thing lately with the secular music. I made myself a clean rnb playlist that had me thriving and able to enjoy other music when I’m not listening to Worship. Recently I have had one particular song on replay that isn’t on that clean playlist and it has a spirit of hopelessness attached to it l. I’ve had to cut it off. The body is definitely going thru similar attacks. The warfare in this hour is crazy. We HAVE GOT to stick together as The Word says and STAY In God’s Word and Presence.
It feels like you where echoing some of the very same things I was praying about this morning. Like for me it's just being tired of having to keep denying myself things when so many others get to "live there best lives" or how I'm paying tithes and still always broke while others can live frivolous lives. And I know we can't look at others but even that can be hard when it's your family or right in front of your face. Like I have an aunt who was talking about how she is about to fly to Barcelona and cruise around Spain while I'm trying to figure out how to have enough to pay bills after getting food and gas. Sometimes I don't even want to talk to others because I'm not trying to be jealous....but it just makes me sad about my life.
The holy spirit is moving. Your video are always so on time!

I am here texting from Kenya and I’m confirming what Deborah is saying.
It has been tough, it is tough, the past two days were so hard I didn’t even want to pray and I was listening to music that I know God doesn’t want me to listen to. So today I prayed about it and asked God to take control and HE has I am so happy now and yes I will take that cross every single day, when you don’t want to pray or talk to God or read the Bible, its because the warfare is greater so fight! Those negative thoughts are of the devil and were attacking me yesterday but surrender to God and you’ll be in safe hands always remember Psalm 91

This video is so real. Literally what I’ve been going through hard the past 3 weeks. And today was the toughest. The enemy was trying to get me to turn and go back to my hometown. This video came at a perfect time.
