The closer I move towards God, the more the enemy tries to attack me. I have been experiencing a lot of spiritual warfare. But God is stronger than the attacks! Praise the Lord for the strength He gives me to get through those moments. 🙌🏻❤

Man I felt this. I was so excited for the new year. I had made all these goals and plans for myself, I started a detox and I was in my word staying on track with my Bible study and then Jan 18th my daughters father passed in a car accident and since I been so angry and feeling alone and hurt because I just don’t understand why God would allow this too happen. I been struggling to pray and open my Bible because I’m so angry with God right now for taking him away from us and leaving me here to raise my daughter alone. My year was not supposed to start off this way. I don’t want to be angry at God, I don’t want to keep hurting. Please pray for me that God help me find my way back through this wilderness.
Lovely sister! I thank God for the encouragement, but theres something i wanna share with you, and whoever reads this too. The end goal isnt the blessing you get from the Lord, it's the lessons you learn about His character. You don't just say "God is good!" and stop at that. You say, "God is good, all the time!" "He loves me so much!", but with so much more of your heart and soul. Everyone should leave that season with even more hunger for God.

The other day I felt deeply to pray over my brothers and sisters with ED's and specifically towards the ones who recently felt like they were going backwards in their recovery or starting it. I will continue to keep you in prayer The Lord is good and He is our star, victory and healer. I'm praying strongly for mental health (physical as well but i have felt like this spiritual warfare is really going in the mind of many, me included). But this heaviness will lift, it has to, because greater is The One within us.
I came across your video just as I was finishing a journal entry in which I was talking about how I am feeling "dark"... No motivation, lazy, incredibly sad, angry, lonely with an overall heaviness and weight on top of me. I've even written in my journal how I can't hear God anymore, total silence. Mind you, I have a full load with work, family (husband and kids), so very busy and still....darkness. I noticed that suddenly I stopped reading and studying my bible, no prayers. It’s crazy because I have been avoiding watching this video because I have been so fragile and just mentally exhausted due to past months but I’m glad that I listened to this because Lord knows how much I really needed to hear this! Thank you for this topic, I went into January with expectations that was set by myself and I realised that I forgot for a moment that God is supposed to be leading me. Like how a shepherd guides its sheep and lately I’ve just been in prayer and trying to keep moving forward. I have ups and downs but I know God is always beside me through it all. Hi I was a addict it's been 101/2 years but I am definitely understanding where you are coming from but my testimony and what the lord taught me is my passion to share with woman like us. First don't label yourself as addict you are what god says you are get scriptures on what God says about you remember your identity is in Christ! I went to meetings etc but the father showed me that we are labeling ourselves as the world says start declaring every day what god says you are take off the world labels. It took me so many years but whatever you do just keep your self in the Bible no matter what I did also getting high it sounds crazy but I was so desperate... but remember you have the holy spirt in you the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead take your power back in the name of Jesus... you have authority in the name of Jesus don't worry about what you are doing just keep going day be day keeping your heart o. Jesus and your authority and believing what you're father says about you and I promise our father is faithful to deliver you 🙏
I really needed to hear this. Last few weeks, I have been feeling lost and under spiritual warfare. I was so on fire for the Lord just weeks prior. Praying, fasting, worshiping him heavily... And then I drifted off for a few days, days turn to a couple weeks. And during that time period, I felt all the spiritual warfare and fleshly guilty. Irronically enough, I had stop reading my bible and focusing on Jesus. Its crazy how quick the flesh and the devil can deter you. But I'm back on my horse. Refocusing on the Lord, empowered by God, guided by the holy spirit! We have to keep on the full armor of God!
Lost my Dad in August last year (my birthday month), I was blessed that he came to live with me for almost two years prior to his departure. When you lose both your parents , you tend to feel lost at times, withdrawn and anti-social but at the same time, you remember you have a big God you can always reach out to, you read the Bible and pray and little by little, you start to feel good again and you continue your positive life because that's not only what your late parents want/would have wanted for you but more so what God wants for you. So I think its important to stand firm in God's promises, we have more to gain in Heaven, in Christ than all the temporary distractions of this world. We call it the "scary book"...talk about self righteousness... you dont want to get your name erased from the Lamb's Book of Life, Rev. 3:5. I grew up with a mom who had very judgmental opinions of people. I have known for a long time how toxic it was and yet in the back of my mind that’s what I hear first. Learning to see, hear, and sit in stillness with the love of God in my heart is my daily cross. It’s such a struggle, but I believe as I grow to be closer to Jesus I can gain his kingdom of love. I will keep you in my prayers. You are not alone.

i so so love that you mentioned that a lot of followers of christ are very judgmental- it’s so true and it’s something that’s so hard for us to perceive ourselves. but i was an atheist for my whole life until around this time last year, so i thought id never have that self-righteous perspective that many christians fall victim to, but since being saved by Christ, i have even found myself judging other christians for the same things you described. it’s just so important to remember that Jesus warned us against that paradigm and that he would never judge others the way we sometimes do. wonderful video, i appreciate your honesty and insight ❤

I've had medical bills come left and right this January, and since I'm still in school, I'm overwhelmed to say the least. Thank you for that powerful prayer you suggested, I will ask the Lord what needs to go in my life. I have a feeling that it is doubt that needs to go, since I've been anxious about so many unknowns in this season of my life, especially about finding a job post-graduation in May. Thank you for the message. I really wanted to do ministry in a ministry school in Nigeria and yesterday the list of shortlisted candidates was released and my name wasn't there. I felt so bad but I just prayed and I felt peaceful. I have done a different diploma but I feel I need to do a ministry course am in Kenya and I don't know which other school I could apply for. Am abit in disbelief I didn't manage to get to the school but I will trust in God I have faith he has something good. I had been dealing with spiritual warfare for 9 months now. Your word was perfect, when the enemy see the glow in you from Jesus, he hates it. We must be putting on the Armor of God each day to fight this battle. Our mind is the battlefield and we must be prepared every moments to not allow the enemy to put negative thoughts into our mind. Fix your gaze on Jesus and HE will never let your hand go. I am still struggling but my faith grows stronger and stronger each day because I trust and obey, that’s the only way.
I agree! Right after my birthday I decided to get closer to God and remember crying to God that I wanted to have more faith in him and get closer to him. In many ways I wanted to shed my worldly desires that didn’t align with Gods views. Ever since I prayed to get closer to him I started to go through this intense spiritual ware fare. I’ve never been one to have depression and anxiety but I have been dealing with this so much over the past few months. I have moments where I’m on fire for Jesus but other days that are just incredibly hard to get through. The more and more I pray and get closer to God the more intense this ware far is.
The closer I move towards God, the more the enemy tries to attack me.
I have been experiencing a lot of spiritual warfare. But God is stronger than the attacks! Praise the Lord for the strength He gives me to get through those moments. 🙌🏻❤

Man I felt this. I was so excited for the new year. I had made all these goals and plans for myself, I started a detox and I was in my word staying on track with my Bible study and then Jan 18th my daughters father passed in a car accident and since I been so angry and feeling alone and hurt because I just don’t understand why God would allow this too happen. I been struggling to pray and open my Bible because I’m so angry with God right now for taking him away from us and leaving me here to raise my daughter alone. My year was not supposed to start off this way. I don’t want to be angry at God, I don’t want to keep hurting. Please pray for me that God help me find my way back through this wilderness.

The end goal isnt the blessing you get from the Lord, it's the lessons you learn about His character. You don't just say "God is good!" and stop at that. You say, "God is good, all the time!" "He loves me so much!", but with so much more of your heart and soul. Everyone should leave that season with even more hunger for God.

I really needed to hear this. Last few weeks, I have been feeling lost and under spiritual warfare. I was so on fire for the Lord just weeks prior. Praying, fasting, worshiping him heavily... And then I drifted off for a few days, days turn to a couple weeks. And during that time period, I felt all the spiritual warfare and fleshly guilty. Irronically enough, I had stop reading my bible and focusing on Jesus. Its crazy how quick the flesh and the devil can deter you. But I'm back on my horse. Refocusing on the Lord, empowered by God, guided by the holy spirit! We have to keep on the full armor of God!
Lost my Dad in August last year (my birthday month), I was blessed that he came to live with me for almost two years prior to his departure. When you lose both your parents , you tend to feel lost at times, withdrawn and anti-social but at the same time, you remember you have a big God you can always reach out to, you read the Bible and pray and little by little, you start to feel good again and you continue your positive life because that's not only what your late parents want/would have wanted for you but more so what God wants for you. So I think its important to stand firm in God's promises, we have more to gain in Heaven, in Christ than all the temporary distractions of this world. I grew up with a mom who had very judgmental opinions of people. I have known for a long time how toxic it was and yet in the back of my mind that’s what I hear first. Learning to see, hear, and sit in stillness with the love of God in my heart is my daily cross. It’s such a struggle, but I believe as I grow to be closer to Jesus I can gain his kingdom of love.

This has been me all January… I’m so confused about the path he want me on. I’ve been deep in my word and prayer life and the enemy keeps attacking me mentally🙁 but by the grace of God I am at peace before I lay my head to sleep

You’re not alone sis!! Lean into God by spending time in the bible and prayer. The more time you spend doing those things, the brighter that Jesus glow becomes on you which scares the enemy! That’s why he’s trying to keep you from doing those things. Keep going!! 💪🏽❤️

The more I keep my faith in God the spiritual attacks keep getting worse. The enemy has put something in my legs that I feel it crawling up every time I sit down.in my leg but I have to fight and push through for God. I been praying for deliverance in Jesus name.
I just came out of quiet time with God and I told him that I am truly dissatisfied with my life and need help. Thank you for your video. There were a lot of encouragement and wisdom I needed to hear. i so so love that you mentioned that a lot of followers of christ are very judgmental- it’s so true and it’s something that’s so hard for us to perceive ourselves. but i was an atheist for my whole life until around this time last year, so i thought id never have that self-righteous perspective that many christians fall victim to, but since being saved by Christ, i have even found myself judging other christians for the same things you described. it’s just so important to remember that Jesus warned us against that paradigm and that he would never judge others the way we sometimes do. wonderful video, i appreciate your honesty and insight ❤

There were so many gems that ministered to me in this video sis! What a timely word for me. I've had medical bills come left and right this January, and since I'm still in school, I'm overwhelmed to say the least. Thank you for that powerful prayer you suggested, I will ask the Lord what needs to go in my life. I have a feeling that it is doubt that needs to go, since I've been anxious about so many unknowns in this season of my life, especially about finding a job post-graduation in May. I think God is also teaching me to rely on Him for absolutely everything! Thank you also for giving me clarity. Yea sis I know how hard it is to speak certain things out loud. But I believe that he’d rather us honestly tell him, then us hiding it while he knows what we’re hiding. Thank you for the message. I really wanted to do ministry in a ministry school in Nigeria and yesterday the list of shortlisted candidates was released and my name wasn't there. I felt so bad but I just prayed and I felt peaceful. I have done a different diploma but I feel I need to do a ministry course am in Kenya and I don't know which other school I could apply for. Am abit in disbelief I didn't manage to get to the school but I will trust in God I have faith he has something good. I had even prepared my passport ready to go to the Nigeria embassy in my mind now am just putting my full trust in God and for Grace of speed. I will fix my eyes on Jesus more

And I definitely feel like I’m going through Spiritual Attacks of not being a good enough Christian because I feel like I’m not where I should be in life and I don’t know where to go next. I lost some friendships, relationships and got laid off from my job so I kind of feel a bit lost rn. But I keep looking towards our Father and just seeking guidance from him on what to do and just trying to stay in his word. And I know he has a plan for me. I had been dealing with spiritual warfare for 9 months now. Your word was perfect, when the enemy see the glow in you from Jesus, he hates it. We must be putting on the Armor of God each day to fight this battle. Our mind is the battlefield and we must be prepared every moments to not allow the enemy to put negative thoughts into our mind. Fix your gaze on Jesus and HE will never let your hand go. I am still struggling but my faith grows stronger and stronger each day because I trust and obey, that’s the only way.

I agree! Right after my birthday I decided to get closer to God and remember crying to God that I wanted to have more faith in him and get closer to him. In many ways I wanted to shed my worldly desires that didn’t align with Gods views. Ever since I prayed to get closer to him I started to go through this intense spiritual ware fare. I’ve never been one to have depression and anxiety but I have been dealing with this so much over the past few months. I have moments where I’m on fire for Jesus but other days that are just incredibly hard to get through. The more and more I pray and get closer to God the more intense this ware far is.
