Not sure how old you guys are but, you may not have even been born when Eminem broke through the Hip Hop industry. It was epic & to those of us who were there, the impact of his music was immeasurable to none. It’s hard to put into words the depth of how Em changed so many people, the industry, & paved the way for other white rappers. This tribute from Tom Mac touches on that depth! Good reaction ❤️
Honestly one of the most truthful comments I've seen. A lot of ppl chalk this as a diss but considering Tom produces all his own beats and he paid for this one, I consider it paying respect. It pays respect to an influence while also demanding respect for his own creativity. Anyway sorry for the long post. May be a year late but I just recently found Tom's music. Peace.

2 Years later and I'm here to add to your amazing comment that I have tried to put into words but will always fail miserably... Eminem was SO worldwide PRE internet. EVERY where you went or turned you seen him on Music videos, Movies, MTV, TRL, BET, Fox 5, News at 9 on channel 9... There was NO WHERE his impact didn't reach!
Tom is maybe the bravest artist out there. He's putting out his heart and soul to his idol who might hate him, but he still paid to do it. Way to flex and be real as fuck at the same time.

Genius! He dropped 100k on an original stan beat 1 of 1. He also recreated the music video scenes from stan when he drove his car off the bridge when em was coming up in the 90's. He recreated everything 100 % accurate! Damn creative 🙏 and from the beginning of the song he started off the topic of people comparing them lately and kept it continuous throughout. I love you guys. This video was my introduction to you folks. I really dig that you guys listened to the song and got it. So many reactors think this song is Tom saying he’s Eminem’s equal. The car is from the Dear Stan music video. He bought it from a junk yard, then sanded and painted it just for this. He got seaweed from the beach to put on the exterior, then filled it with water so it'd pour out to look like they just pulled it from the bottom of the river

Tom went to a salvage yard and found a Monte Carlo just like in Eminem's "Stan" video. It was black, so he sanded it down and painted it just like the other car. He also built the set the same as in Em's Stan video. Perfect homage to his idol.... and now a lot of the "Stan's" are pissed about it.

Close, I went back n watched Stan, for reference I'm a Monte Carlo buff, but the car in this video is a 81-86 and the Monte in Stan was a 76, but you're right about the rest....just pointing it out, I seen him on No Life's reaction live n heard the story too, but I couldnt remember the car in Stan so I watched, they are both Monte Carlos tho...in no way hating on any part of it, just saying one was a second gen Monte n this is a 4th gen body style

He won the eminem beat in an aution that benefitted his charity. He dropped 100 000 to win the auction and the beat (which was named "Stans Revenge". Alot of Stans thought he was going to use Eminem's beat to diss him. So in a way it was the ultimate revenge. He admitted that Em was his inspiration to be his own person and showed his love even though Em fans tend to hate on him Love yall's reactions!
The craziest thing about this song is the weight it carries. To hear him say how shady's music helped him get threw being picked on as a kid is incredible. I don't think artists really realize the effect of their music and how important it is to so many people till they have someone telling them about how a song they made gave someone the courage to get clean, get help, stand up for themselves, or to simply keep living their life no matter how hard it gets.
