This is one of my favourite things on the internet. It was one of the first vids that popped up when I was starting to dig into “that band Nothing But Thieves that keeps catching my ear and stopping me in my tracks on Spotify”. Once I saw that, I went off the deep end, never to return.

I love broken machine and this version is awesome. Glad Kate chose this, she knew you would appreciate the orchestra! About Conor nodding his head, he does this sometimes and i think he is just emotional. Now about his voice cracking, i have the PERFECT song for you. A cover of Fleetwood mac "dreams" NBT did. He had a voice crack and it was such a cute moment. Actually would be curious if you'd like their version, but ngl it's not one of their best performances
lol! I was thinking of the exact same performance when she mentioned the voice crack. Really tricky song to sing so I don’t blame the guy haha. It’s a decent performance but I guess like you said not their best. In saying that I’ll probably end up requesting it at some point when we get though the bigger stuff.

Love this version of Broken Machine. You should also watch the video of them doing the cover of Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead. Conor's voice 👏 is 👏absolutely 👏 mindblowing 👏.. but you know that by now. Cannot wait for you to see them live! 🤩

This version is perfect
06:10 I remember 2 voice cracks I've heard of him. The first one was at O2 Arena (I think?) at the end of Impossible and the second one was in this cover of Dreams by Fleetwood Mac (At about 00:50).
I have watched alot of NBT content in the last years and that I only know of these 2 voice cracks really understates how good of a singer he is. Also it makes it way funnier hearing him messing up.

Tbf it was in the middle of the pandemic and he probably didnt train his voice as much without the gigs.
