It’s great that you did this video, however, I highly recommend improving the written instructions that come with the unit. That will undoubtedly save you time in customer service calls and emails. I was unable to get my Beretta PX4 mags to load. I called the customer service number and spoke with Sara. She was super polite and helpful. After adding a drop of gun oil to the ramp, the mags still would not load. I lightly sprayed dry gun lube on the mag follower and the cartridges jumped into the mag so fast, it almost scared me. Keeping in mind that this is a universal loader there are bound to be a few speed bumps with various magazines. I am very impressed. Really cool product.
I have a Browning Hi-Power, FN509 and a Sig P390. The loader somewhat works in the P390, almost none in the Browning and not at all in the FN. I contacted Fastmag and they pretty much blew me off saying the loader would have to break in. Well, it's hasn't. I have now contacted them 4 times regarding a refund on their 30 day money back guarantee and they will not respond. Do not waste your money with a product that doesn't work and with a company who doesn't stand behind their word.
I just received mine and love it! Took me just a couple of minutes to get the hang of it, and once I figured it out, I was able to load a 30 round magazine with .223 within a minute. I may also buy the handgun version soon. Thanks for a great product!
I just received your product and at first is was really unhappy with the 9mm version. I oiled it as directed but the rounds still jammed in the throat every time. I was using brass rounds as well is the steel neither one worked easily. After truly getting frustrated with dropping rounds all over the place I left it alone for a while. When I came back to it, my brain had been working on the issue, so I put one round in by hand then loaded the balance in the loader. It worked exactly as advertised after that change, I guess there is something in my Mel-Gar mags follower that is jamming the loading process. The rifle loader worked perfectly straight out of the box, clean and easy. have the mags not in fit snugly is a little odd at first but it works well.
Bought one of these a few months ago. Just now getting around to using it for my S&W, M&P Shield in .357 Sig. Loaded my single stack 7 round M&P mag, quicker than I could bite off a row of kernels on an ear of corn. Beats thumb-stuffing those little buggers in there all to pieces. My overall experience with it has been positive! Guns N Basses Forever 🔫🎸
Nice video. I like the way the rounds you slid onto the "stick" slid so effortlessly with the "pusher" and two fingers. Wish my loader worked like shown in this video. My rounds won't go down the loading channel any further than 3/4's way down with my fingers. Then they start to get real tight. That is without the "pusher" attached. With the pusher I have to lean hard to get them to just meet the magazine. Then it becomes impossible to advance the rounds any further. I think there is a defect in my loading channel/rail. It takes almost all my strength to push the rounds through this loader. And that was WITHOUT a mag inserted. Has anyone else tried using it without a magazine inserted? That means the mag is not the problem. It's the rail. Maybe mine is defective and there is a problem with QC. Hope this gets fixed in a future iteration. P.S. I did read the other reviews and following their advice did not improve the operation of my loader.
Just got my universal ETS loader and i agree this is the BEST investment you make on saving time & your fingers specially loading brand new 30 round magazines, i literally loaded in just seconds! Thank you for an amazing product.
Just an FYI. The .45 ACP is available but the trough is only long enough to pick up 8 rounds at a time. For my 10 round magazines I just turn the box sideways and load 5 each time. Takes a little longer but still a lot better than loading by hand.
Mines been oiled and used for 500 rounds or so and it's literally a workout every time I load a mag. Takes some serious force and I've followed the directions from the start. Gotten to the point where I almost don't use it anymore
Very first time using it was a bit of a wrestling match. Applied oil where indicated and it made the first mag a lot easier. After that first mag though it got easier and easier. Just follow the directions, it really is that simply….follow-the-directions!
Absolutely love this thing. I am rejoining my pistol club next year, after a way to long a break due to circumstances. This is going to be the first accessory I purchase. Just saw this for the first time today and a lot of the other guys are just doing it so wrong. Its a shame when people are demonstrating a product wrongly and make it look so difficult when it's not. Thanks for the video, will be getting one for sure and by the looks of things, will also be recommending them to every one. Thanks heaps...........Damon from Australia.
Very good tool, once I figured out that you can insert the magazine the wrong way up into the plastic receptacle end. Rounds don't feed too well that way. After some grunting and cussin' and oiling didn't get rounds in, I turned the mag over and--worked like a charm. It is a helpful tool, but I agree with commenters below who said better written instructions, and video as well, would enhance end-user experience. But overall, I'm glad I got it.
I bought one of these magazine loaders in 9 mm. My 1911 single stack magazines chambered for 9 mm would not fit. Do you know if they make a specific one for 1911 magazines. I had another speed loader made from them in 45 ACP for a single stack 1911 magazine and it worked great.
I would like to see you demonstrate that Speedloader with a Taurus G2S 7 round mag. Even with tailor made shims to center the mag and lubricating the ETS, it is still difficult to use. On the other hand, it works well with S&W SD9 mags.
@@whazupmike Mags are female.... A little lube and use will loosen them right up....!!! NP....!!! Though, with the price of ammo, you might as well be paying for a hooker than going to the range....!!!
Ok, got my ETS C.A.M loaders in 9mm/40sw and 5.56, 7.62x39 Tried them both with brass , steal( didn't have aluminum) Used the recommended drops of oil. 5.56, 7.62x39 went pretty smooth, no real issues with steel or brass. Polymer mags were a little easier than metal But not bad. The 9mm/40sw.... it's taking some work. Not as easy as the 5.56, 7.62x39 and definitely not as easy as the video, but maybe there is some break in period? Not sure? I can get them to load, brass way easier than steel, but again if you are expecting just like the video you're going to bruise the hell out of your chest! Once you get it figured out, it starts to go a little smother..ish I do like them, I would recommend them. I also wanted to wait to review these till after I got to the range and see if these cause any feeding issues???? Very happy to report not one issue!!! And again steel or brass (didn't have aluminum) But no jams, feeding problems, and cycling great! Not a waste of your hard earned money! thank you ETS!
yeah my 9mm had issues with being smooth, but after oiling and use it has gotten much smother. seems use polishes the surfaces. havent tried steel cased but i imagine the issues are due to the increased friction steel cased ammo has
Just purchased one for my 9MM M&P Shield. And sadly to say, I am returning it today. It only loads about 3-4 rounds then jams. I watched this video before using, oiled as instructed and it still jams. I used the standard 7 & 8 round Shield mags and also tried a 10 round mag, all jammed. Also tried different makers of 9MM. I really wished it worked.
Well, since you folks haven't responded to anyone's videos in over a year, I'm not going to hold my breath on a response to me . . . however, that being said, would these work on the CZ Scorpion 3+ mags? Particularly, the Magpul mags?
I just got mine today and I can’t seem to get the magazine to seat. I’ve tried putting the magazine in slowly and tried slapping the magazine in without it seating. I can’t get the rounds to go down smoothly either. What am I doing wrong? I have a FN 545 tactical with an 18 round magazine and a 15 round one.
How are these load tools holding up? I've read several comments (on other videos for this) saying that there is a tendency for these to break after several hundred rounds. What are some real world expectations for extended usage?
Just got one. 9mm works great with Beretta 92FS mags and Sig P365 mags. Haven't tried the PX4 mags yet. Worked horizontally against belly and vertically against bench top. I'm not man enough to push it against my sternum like in the video!
Just got mine and I’m not sure if mines defective but I have to fight it to the point it’s faster to hand load. If I drop one round down the slid part with out a mag in it stops just before where the at lip is and you have to force it into the ramp section. Is that normal?
Works nice on Glock and Colt type magazines. Beretta APX magazines will not fit properly and a protruding piece on the magazine takes pieces of the loader when pulled out.
It doesn't work well for the Ruger EC9S. I finally got it to work for the EC9S, but I had to pry up the mag holder so it could snap in, & then it always loads all but the last round, which stays loose. I need to put a extra round in the loader to completely load the mag
I was super stoked when I got this for Christmas, but after an hour of trying, I was just incredibly frustrated. I made certain the mags were fully inserted, I oiled it, I tried everything I could, but it would not load mags(after loading rounds in the slide by hand),nor would it allow me to slide it over the tray to pick up rounds. After three, it binds up and no more rounds will slide into the rail. Please help. If this can't be resolved, I'll sell it and purchase a different brand. My hands and fingers don't work like they used to and I need something.
what i found is that it really does need to break in, what i did, was sit down with some .40, and load and unload it for a while and it will get better each time, (it will even load the stupid CA 10 round mags, which barely fit 10 super strong spring) and then moving back to 9mm, you can see how it has broken in and works great
Is it an illusion that the rounds look tangled up at 4:07 and 4:13? I've not seen a clear magazine loaded before and am not sure if it's right. It just looks funny to me but maybe it's just me. Don't use Full Screen and then zoom all the way in.
Howdy! Just bought one of these brand new on eBay in 9mm. Mine doesn't look exactly like yours--the lubrication points are apparently completely different. It CAN load ammo, but mostly only one round at a time--if you have 4-5 rounds at once, the case heads seem to bind up in the track and won't easily press into the magazine--have to use all of my 200 lbs to press them in, and I STILL can't get the magazine full. Do you have an instructional video for mine?
I'm pretty disappointed in my .45 loader, just received and tried for the first time, I not only put a drop of oil in each location, I ended up using my gun oil sprayer and applied light coverage in key friction locations and it's like wrestling a bear trying to get the ammo to load. It wants to jam about half way through. I may dry it off the best I can and then try dry lube like one of the other suggestions here but bottom line is it isn't working as advertised for me personally. Glad I only ordered one before ordering all 3 that I needed. I was really looking forward to getting this but very disappointed right now.
Good video, thanks. A couple of questions: What materials are used? What are their longevity? Are they easily broken? Thanks for your additional input.
Could not get it to do anything but jam with a ten round Beretta PX4 mag. But if you pre-load one round, by hand or with the loader, then the rest go right in. After practicing loading several times I noticed dings in the bullet and case. Looks like it’s rough on your rounds.
I used mine just like you are showing. It worked, but not nearly that easy. Also, that area you mention that gets the oil broke off on me the 2nd time I used it, now it won't load anything. Waste of money. Make these out of aluminum and you'll have something.
You had indicated it works on a double stack magazine but didn't show it, does it work on the Glock 9mm 19 and 19x 17 round double stack mags? The same way or anything different?
I used it like 4 times and it worked perfect. Added gun lube and it stopped working... To get even one round in a mag (Taurus G3) I have to press as hard as I can. Then it ends up putting the rounds in sideways. Why did it stop working and what can i do about it? It is beyond frustrating.
It doesn't work for cr@p on my new 9mm Taurus, but will try again after the next 100 range rounds & see if it works better then. Another loader DID work - just not this one so far.
love my ETS Cam loader as well. Only thing i dislike is that my range trips are shorter due to the time saved loading the mags, lol. Have about 300rds through mine so far. Still have some break-in time. last few rounds are a little bit tougher to load, but could also be user error.
Just got my ETS today. Followed the oil instructions first thing. I am having trouble with certain brands. My Fiocchi 9mm JHP load will only put 8 of the ten rounds into the mag. Federal FMJ same thing. Nosler JHP NO PROBLEM, full ten. Tried multiple times with each brand with the same results. Not sure what's going on. Looks so easy in the vids I've watched.
After trying the solutions(oil) and eventually coming to this video. I still was unable to do my S&W mp 40 Compact....I finally said let me do I then 4, then add a few more till I was able to run a full 10....I noticed initially a little black flakes...if you feel the direction of the ramp...you might notice a small overhang....that is where hangups may occur. If it seems to hang up for the first three try less at first till it wears or breaks in. I use this and magula...sometimes speed counts, but having both is not a bad thing. Best way be prepared. Some earlier comments used what I concluded too
Yours slide in without effort, mine binds down near the main body in the slide. I can't get more than 2 to load without it locking up. I've used oil where you show. What should I do?
Very unhappy with this loader, I have fought and fought with it to load my Ruger SR9C mags and it's just not working. I have oiled the feeder rail and the upper and lower ramps and made sure the mag is fully seated and it still doesn't work. I can feed 2 rounds in at a time but it takes extreme pressure to push them in. I have one of your speed loaders for my .223 and it works Fantastic !
I don’t understand how the round is able to get past the magazine lips without damaging them as they are showed past it seeing the the round is obviously larger than the gap between the lips.
60% of the time it works every time, lol But honestly, I like it. I'm going to order a new one, I think I wore mine out. The rounds pointing UP doesn't matter, still jams.
I cannot get mine to work with my m&p 9mm. I followed the instructions, but after an hour of trying,I gave up. I was actually damaging the ammo with the force needed to push the rounds in, not to mention the bruises on my stomach.
@@REiDMUSiC412 I lubed the thing as they said made sure my mags were clean. Tried numerous times with very in pressure and it might load one or 2 rounds an lock up no matter how much forse. Maybe it works better on etc mags or glock mags but I tried on my p 365 p320 p226. Just jammed up. It ain't like a break in period it jus jams. Don't buy.
It won't work with any of the P365 series magazines. This includes the P365, P365 XL, P365 SAS or P365 RXZ. All the mags for these guns are about the same, differing only in their length and capacity. My impression is that these are really designed primarily for Glocks, which the biggest share of their potential market.
Have the one for rifle rounds. EH, just ok I guess. It works but most 5.56 rounds aren't sold in plastic holders like the demonstration or the picture & you can't use it w/ stripper clips so you have to put rounds on the device individually. Maybe after "break in" it would be a little smoother I guess. To be honest the strip lula works better w/ out break in or oiling & can be used w/ or w/out stripper clips!
Anyone here tried the loader with the sig 365XL? if so how did it work out for you I'm interested in getting one but dont want to waste money on something that doesn't work

Take more ammo next time
@@BlackoutPatriot i know right? but its great that i am spending more time shooting than loading
Does this work with Staccato C2 magazines?
Will get a couple once you come out with one that can load 10mm.
Mine doesn’t load smooth at all. Seems to jam up and not go in at all. Any help??
Very unhappy with this loader, I have fought and fought with it to load my Ruger SR9C mags and it's just not working. I have oiled the feeder rail and the upper and lower ramps and made sure the mag is fully seated and it still doesn't work. I can feed 2 rounds in at a time but it takes extreme pressure to push them in. I have one of your speed loaders for my .223 and it works Fantastic !
Emailed in March about a problem I had with mine. Just got a reply 2 days ago in May
I appreciate this video. It should've been 3 minutes long.
How does it not destroy the feed lips? Are rounds being top loaded and pushed through like an AR magazine?
glockshooter45 The rounds slide down a “ramp” at the same angle you use to hand load the magazine.
When will you come out with a loader for sub compact mags? Like Taurus g2 Glock 48 ect.
The ETS Speedloader works well with the Taurus G2S magazine.
I tried to use this on an M & P 2.0 magazine, but for some reason I can't get it to load. Does this work with the M&P 2.0 magazines?
Having same problem, I guess it doesn’t load on that.
The packaging states that it will load the CZ Scorpion EVO. I can not get it to load more than the first round.
try the rifle one, should work better
No way mine works that easy. My maglula it's great.
Make a video of you loading a Sig P365 mag. It's not listed as one that it doesn't work for, so I'd love to see what everyone is doing wrong...
I got one for 9mm and rifle, rifle one is super easy but for the 9mm I can't get it to work at all
I cannot get mine to work with my m&p 9mm. I followed the instructions, but after an hour of trying,I gave up. I was actually damaging the ammo with the force needed to push the rounds in, not to mention the bruises on my stomach.
Same
Does this work for CZ75 magazines too?
yes. no problem
Mine wont load my 12 round g3c magazines.. they dont even get to the magazine before rattling around at the top of the magazine
Got one for 10mm double stack xdm Springfield?
Having problems with mine on sig mags
Hey Larry, I have a sig 9mm P320 and was considering this. What issues were you having cause I don't want to waste my money.
Don't buy.
@@larrybaker9464 I appreciate that info bro. I think I'll go with the maglula.
@@REiDMUSiC412 that's what I got but most of the time I use my hand. Helps keep the strength in my hands. Plus I'm use to it
@@REiDMUSiC412 no problem my brother
Does this work for Barreta APX mags?
Can you guys please make a Taurus g2c,g3,g3c magazine pretty please 🙏
Will this work with MTM plastic Ammo boxes?
will this work on anything other than ETS mags?
BEST LOADER OUT THERE !!!!
How does it not destroy your feed lips?
It can use with 5.56 stripper?
this is for 9mm and .40 cal
Is this hard on the map lips?
its designed so that it doesnt do damage to the feedlips of the mag
Haven't seen one work that easy yet including mine. My maglupa is great
Trying to purchase ,
It won't work with any of the P365 series magazines. This includes the P365, P365 XL, P365 SAS or P365 RXZ. All the mags for these guns are about the same, differing only in their length and capacity. My impression is that these are really designed primarily for Glocks, which the biggest share of their potential market.
Do your mags work for polymer 80?
Have the one for rifle rounds. EH, just ok I guess. It works but most 5.56 rounds aren't sold in plastic holders like the demonstration or the picture & you can't use it w/ stripper clips so you have to put rounds on the device individually. Maybe after "break in" it would be a little smoother I guess. To be honest the strip lula works better w/ out break in or oiling & can be used w/ or w/out stripper clips!
Will this work with CZ75 SP01 magazines?
yes
Will this work with a Bersa 380 plus double stack magazine? I just bought one.
It does not work with my Bersa TPR9 mags.
Brilliant. I'm getting one of those.
cant wait to get mine
I bought one and it is way harder to plunge the rounds in the mag than that...yes it's oiled
Show me an fn 509 clip. I have one and it is getting stuck on something on the withdraw. What do you recomend?
Anyone here tried the loader with the sig 365XL? if so how did it work out for you I'm interested in getting one but dont want to waste money on something that doesn't work
Won't work with any of the P365 series magazines. This includes the P365, P365 XL, P365 SAS or P365 RXZ. All the mags for these guns are about the same, differing only in their length and capacity.
@@44124gat can you suggest one that will work other than the lula loader if you happen to know of one?
