Actually I've been a follower of KOL for years. I just have an appreciation for all good music, and it so happens I like their new album because I can understand the emotion behind it, and appreciate the difficulty and resonance of the songs.
that's such a harsh comment. They're new stuff is way more original than any of their previous albums. It's edgy, this other stuff is still good, but there's too much outside influence. The new album is totally their own. Caleb finally sings to his best, and showcases that amazing voice. To me, looking back at the old stuff, it just seems like natural progression, and they've grown, matured and found their own sound. They're the Nirvana of the 21st century.
possibly, they all dress in matching leather jackets/outfits now. not a bad thing, but maybe to look the part. dont get me wrong, i still love them now. i just liked the akwardness and rawness of these early performances. also, pixie caleb is fucking epic.
