Lol I had just posted a question almost like that on a german horsegroup, asking what way (soap) works best to remove bee wax stains from a saddle. (I noted that I kinda meant too well with the leather balm when the saddle was new) Some ppl said that I shouldnt have used anything, cuz manufactured and processed leather was already oiled... I had posted a picture of my saddle (in use ofc ) to show the wax stains and one of the comments said „you should have cleaned it first!“. For real! I can’t even remember what I asked at this point, but I posted a simple question and it turned into 100+ comments of assuming and accusing. It was... yikes!
This is literally the "Keeping A Family Cow" forum... a while ago, some woman who was new to milking asked if she could just milk every other day because she's busy and the comments were absolutely crazy 🙄 "you should sell your cow and never ever get one again because clearly you're an idiot" and the like.
Not even an exaggeration. I posted a question of a forum once asking for ways to help with boredom in my horse while I was studying. Uni got really hard suddenly, and I didn't have time to lunge, ride or just hang out with him. I still rugged and fed him, quick grooms every day, but other than that he was in his paddock, alone because it was a drought and I couldn't afford a second horse. I had some people offer actual advice, like getting a companion that isn't a horse, like a goat or a cow that eat different things and improve the quality of the pasture. I had some people suggest home made toys, and that sort of stuff. Then I had people abusing me for leaving my horse turned out 24/7, abusing me for giving him grain (?), abusing me for not being rich enough to house and feed a second horse in the middle of a decade long drought, abusing me for not knowing everything from the get go, and people just telling me that I shouldn't have a horse at all! Even though there is nowhere to send him, because the drought was almost country wide, and a lot of horses were either sick from lack of variety in their diet, living almost exclusively on cheap grass hays, or were being culled! Thoroughbreds especially, because they need higher energy food, and because the racing industry has left so many of them in the area. People assumed that I didn't know what I was doing, and thought that I was new to this. They didn't consider that maybe I've had this horse for years, but a recent change in MY life has led me to ask the question.they didn't consider that maybe I did have a second horse, but because of the drought I was forced to sell her so that I could feed the one I kept. These people didn't provide any solutions. They just told me the obvious (like the line "horses are herd animals. They need companionship" even after I tell them that my plan is to get a second horse when the drought breaks, but it's impossible now without starving the one I have. They just keep repeating that I should have multiple, or none.) Insulted me, challenged my ability to do anything at all because I didn't know that one thing, and generally just acted like assholes! I'm thankful for the few that did respond, and I'm working on getting a companion cow for my horse. Plus the rains have come back, so if this keeps up I might be able to afford another horse in the next year! TL;DR, things are looking up for my horse and I, and those assholes on the forums did nothing to help, and simply gave me an emotional meltdown. Don't be like those assholes.

My horse is also alone bc our 2 other horses died and we can afford another horse. But im working on getting her stalled at our show grounds where there are many horses
This reminds me of the time I posted a video of my horse kicking out at me when I touched her udders. However they needed to be cleaned so I grabbed a crop and touched her udders, and kept the crop on her udders until she stopped kicking. (I used the crop as an extension of my arm) Then I released the pressure. I repeated this multiple times until It was safe for me to clean her udders without getting kicked. The comments went CRAZY. People were telling me I was "sexually harassing my horse" and "I hope she kicks you and you die" I was shocked and horrified at how crazy people were being, especially sense I was just trying to help my horse! It just goes to show that we should all be nicer to eachother ❤️
Sexually harassing your horse? You MUST be joking. I know ppl are cra cra but that’s pure nonsense. I’m sorry for you having to experience that. Truly.
It’s so nice to see another Arabian owner on youtube 😭 Invariably anytime there’s any post about arabians someone has to mention they dont like the breed because of one ill mannered one they knew 😂
The first Arab I ever rode almost killed me. That had absolutely nothing to do with the breed. The owners had lied about the horse saying she was well trained etc... Turns out she had never had a rider on her back outside of a round pen. That wasn't the horse's fault and damn did she ever move well, smoothest felt ever. Until she spooked and almost killed me and I lost 45min of my life (where apparently I continued to ride just fine but my next clear memory is of holding the saddle and wondering if I'm tacking up or untacking). Have ridden several Arabs since. Some I love, some I like and others are a hard no. Just like with almost every other breed. (Except quarter-arab crosses which no matter how many I've ridden I just can't stand the way they move.) Saying you don't like one breed because of a singular experience isnt good horsemanship in my opinion. Hell, the TB I learned on was an ex racehorse who had killed two of his previous riders, HATED ground poles with enthusiasm, and a runaway. He once turned a 6 stride line into a two stride and at 17hh had a hell of a long stride if he decides to go for it. He also decided once to jump a 6ft oxer instead of the warmup X because he hated ground poles and there were trot poles in front of it. If I were to base my opinion of TBs solely on that one horse I'd never even tack one up never mind ride it or own one.
I used to have an Arabian, she died a few years ago. I have quite a few horses now. 4 Mustangs, 1 Belgium Warmblood, 2 Thoroughbreds, 1 Leopard Appaloosa, 1 Dutch Warmblood, and 1 Friesian.
Meanwhile I just don’t like a majority of Arabians because the dished face just isn’t for me and I hate seeing them go the way of pugs in some cases, but a good healthy Arabian isn’t bad just not my style. I prefer the more rounded and broad heads of like draft horses n stuff.

I've never been to a horse forum. The people at the stables were enough for me who said that I should buy a young horse instead of putting my money in an old nag that can no longer do anything and that I should rather let him be euthanized. That was 2 years ago and my horse is now 28 and acts like he is 10.
Thank you. I really want have a couple of ponies one day but I have no experience so I am studying RUclips videos, and will one day hopefully find a mentor in the horse world to help me but it is true that there are so many opinions. I am a bit nervous, with how there are so many different ways of being a horse person. But I know it will work out eventually :)
Gurl I feel you! I’m thankful I had someone for my first year to help direct me! But I’m still on the look out for a mentor. I would suggest picking up some books! Jetequi theory has a resource page on her website! That’s where I’ve been checking out books!
Soooo true!!! All forums and social media have gotten like this now. It’s a pitchfork mob of table flipping maniacs. The internet is like acid dissolving the humanity away.
"Stalls are horse abuse" Guess my horse who loves his stall is very abused. Like when I say loves, I mean he walks himself to his stall and happily doing so....
Ligit, I joined a horse forum looking for help with a rescue and less than a few days later I was banned for 'lying' because I tried to delete my account after people attacked me and I accidentally made my profile picture a picture with the link to a useful article in it but the picture was from the internet so they DEV's said I claimed it was mine and banned me. Never trying that again.
Sooo true lol, some people are RUDEEEE but in reality their horse (if they even have one XDDD) is out of control trying to kill them. Just be nice people!
Your answer for each response, was perfect. Your horse shouldn't eat to much grass, LOL🤣. That doesn't even apply to your question. Come to think of it I don't think anyone actually answered your question. You should defiantly use a horse form again.

The people at the stables were enough for me who said that I should buy a young horse instead of putting my money in an old nag that can no longer do anything and that I should rather let him be euthanized. That was 2 years ago and my horse is now 28 and acts like he is 10.
HORSE ABUSE LOL
and this is true forums always change the subject XXDD
This was a great vid! Also I hope you get better soon. ☺
Lol loved the vid! Sorry I was late I was in school watched on the bus I couldn’t wait any longer 😂 😂
Congratulations for 5k and now 6k omg your so good
You should see dressage videos. "Poor horse," is a regular comment with NO explanation whatsoever. Just poor horse. Like, no, the horse is fine.
Hahahah I missed that one 😂
I see those too! They’re so annoying. You’re not exactly helping by commenting “poor horse” 🤷🏻♀️
@@GypsyEquestrian Haha, well, you could always make it a series and include it in your next video ;)
@Sky Equestrian exactly. Like, some specifics would be nice people! Support your claims.
@@littlerascaleventing Definitely!
@@GypsyEquestrian thank you for the suggestion. I will defn go there!
I want to know the person that did the ONE thumbs down. the video is too amazing to have any thimbs downs
Can you make a vid of a list of things that u need before you get a horse, cause my mom my get my a horse/pony aghhhh so exited 😭😏✨🏇🏽☺️😁
Soooo true!!! All forums and social media have gotten like this now. It’s a pitchfork mob of table flipping maniacs. The internet is like acid dissolving the humanity away.
I absolutely agree. RUclips can be like this too. People are so harsh and rude. It's shocking.
@@baileybreabenson4403 It's so sad actually
I love your videos
People can be so mean 😢 im so thankful God made horses❤❤
This is sooooo funny her face expressions so funny
So true ! This happens to me all the time
Great video. Thank you!
This is literally what happens to me every time I post something in a horse forum. I am so scared to post something coz of all the haters
Don't listen to those people you're a good RUclipsr
THIS IS HILARIOUS

"Stalls are horse abuse"
Guess my horse who loves his stall is very abused.
LOL! Hilarious!! I actually know a few horse owners with 1 horse and 5 or 6 blankets!! ( I might be one...)
I may also be one.. I have 4... that’s acceptable right?
500th Like! Love your skits ❤️❤️
Too much truth here!!!

This was probably their funniest episode.
I nearly started to cry too - sniff
Your answer for each response, was perfect. Your horse shouldn't eat to much grass, LOL🤣. That doesn't even apply to your question. Come to think of it I don't think anyone actually answered your question. You should defiantly use a horse form again.
Oh I just realized one of the comments was you with the lucky shirt saying they were desert horses! Bahahaha your so funny I’m dying 😂
Edit: I was wondering if you had your sticker but with the coffee and horses and sunset trail rides!? I would loveeee to purchase one!
