you know something's wrong with SC2 when the Critters sound more like Zerg than the Zerg do
You absolutly right. Zergs sound were made out of hoomans burbing in the mic with some sound effects added afterwards.

Definitely, although depending in the creature the wont as they have regular or slightly different versions of earth animals too

I think the jittery animation was meant to imitate how some birds really move.
In the old game, you could parasite them with your zerg queen as free scouts. Especially good with the flying critters.
Funny thing is... when playing versus ai in the old game they would randomly off a critter for no reason. LOL

the scantipede is actually the model for the defiler in the SC1 > SC2 conversion mod
it is but there is a real defiler modell in the campaign

every time I see a critter walk up to my ramp i assume its spying on me for the enemy, so I blast it. you can never be too careful.
