    This is probably the cleanest light bracket that I've seen. I like how the cables are hidden too. Well done!

    For the life of me I couldn't figure out a clean light mount solution for a peninsula build that I was happy with and would work for me. Not much on the market geared towards this. Found this video last night... Was absolutely what I've been looking for. Thank you so much!

      @@ReefDudes I do have one question, i have built the stand it is beautiful, but i am having a hard time finding how you attached the lights to the 80/20 bracket. Did you drill though the slide mount for the xr15?

    Nice mount! I did something out of 8020 also. good stuff. I went with just an internal corner. They give load ratings for the different corners types. Luv your channel keep it up.

    Great video! Deflection is rear with all those lights and the length!
    If anyone is interested in 8020 I think the best way to purchase is to pick out your framing option first. After that you can narrow down your fittings for the specific framing option. The good thing about the 8020 website they have recommended hardware below the fittings in a tab. Makes this process very simple!
    The lights are Gen 3's?

    Hi Devon, I’m setting up a new peninsula build and was watching your videos. On one of your older builds you had set up you opened a box of 80/20 that already had holes made to install the top bracket to the arm, is that necessary or can I just attach it with everything you have listed here? Great content btw it really helps us have resources like this! Thanks!

    absolutely love it 😉😉 I said this month's ago about them I've been thinking on this I want some radions for my tank obviously I'll have to start saving haha how many would I need for my tank? I'm not sure on measurements as I'm not home I'm at hospital baby's on the way ☺ but dev could u search it up for me buddy, my tank is a clearseal reef space 700

      Your about half a foot to wide for an XR30 so i would prob go with 2x XR15's to spread the pucks. with the gen 4's out now you should be able to pick up some G3's for cheaper :)

    Do you know how you would do this with the G5 radions? I have G5 XR15s and I'm wanting to do this. I'm not sure I can use that same mount you have to the 1515.

    this is perfect. just bought a peninsula tank but having problems finding adequete lighting. how long is your tank and how long is the top piece of aluminum?

    Excellent that’s exactly the type of light bar I need. Could that be used on a reefbreeder light & possibly thinking of putting two led bars one on each side to fill in case I have shading.
    I have to do my own Dyi stand for the wb6025 so that’s going to change the style of what I was planning to do. Please advise where I could get the aluminum and what I need? Who could you recommend? Ty

    Where in the heck is the front part of overflow? Love this stan. wonder how it would look with the leg on other side since I dont have a peninsula?

      The external ones is part of the tank so there is weir teeth on the back wall.. Keeps the inside of the tank free and clear! I love minimal legs and lack of center braces! :D

      Reefer Rob yes I have them on both sides. As well As tapped the top and the inner corner guest. I extremely overkilled it

      Drill a hole in the bottom of the mount. I believe I show it in one of my newer videos

      @@lesliesuarez7194 I just marked the middle, drilled a hole, poped in a tnut screw and nut and slid it on. works well! (how my 30s are mounted now)

    Reef Dude, after watching your video, my next build instead of getting AI 26led , I will get the Xr 15. Can you tell me how high you mount the lights off the surface of the water? BRS video recommend 11" for 24" tank wide tank, was curious your setup?

    I'd love to use 80/20 for my dream tank and floating light setup. Would I still need those "spacers" at the bottom if everything was modularly connected?

    Hello I have a question I want to build the same tank Mount that you have for your lights but my question is did you use every single part on the description link or did you only use a 2 of the 15x15 rods

      The stuff in the description are just options as the length of the rails will depend on the size of your tank.

    Also where do you get the rubber that fills In The slot of the aluminum arm and what screws for holding g each light into place. I think a couple items where missing from the list you made for everything you used. I have two xr15 g5 pros I need to hang

      All the same screws for that and they go into the T nuts

    Love your floating light mount so I put one together for my tank.     do you feel you notice the 1/4" sag? I'm about to do the same thing and trying to determine if i want to spend the extra money on the 2020 instead of 1515. going over a waterbox peninsula 7226

      Nope not at all. out of 3 tanks the only one i notice the sage was the ofice tank but that was 6.5' ish of aluminum floating. On the tank in this video i put a spacer on the back of the vertical pole to put a slight angle to it and negate it.

I'll go with the 1515 then at 5.3' off of the wall. lastly I know you have the 7225 peninsula now, do you notice a small what looks like bubble around the bottom of the tank in the seam? I can't tell if it's the part where the leveling mat is or not, i have noticed it on other peoples videos as well

      Well it was clear! Added vinyl while it’s against the wall but rock and everything was built as a peninsula for when it’s in its future home :)
