When I was 12 years old I started watching his videos and Rn m 17 still watching it 😌!!!!
Me too im currently 20 and i started watching joey so long ago
Don't know when exactly I've started but I also believe 5-7 years. Now 37 and still loving it. Not all videos are my kind of vids but most of them I like
16 to 22 here.
It's abt 3 years I'm watching. In this hobby for abt 30 years. Started at 10. If Joey was around since then I wouldn't stop watching either
Started at 15 and now I'm 19
Feedback: Twist an eye screw into the top of the far end of those boards and wire them back to the top of the brackets. Almost invisible, and a much cheaper way to stabilize the lights than doubling up the lumber, especially at today's prices. Looking good so far.
I was thinking about something similar but if he used braided fishing line, definitely wouldn't see it and it's really cheap and comes in every color imaginable.
I had the same idea :)
Exactly what I was thinking. Hope he uses this idea
I literally typed this idea but couldn’t get the wording right but you nailed it! Such a good idea
stainless braided wouldn't rust as fast, there's gonna be a fair amount of humidity. but exactly what I was thinking.
I just love the new galery! Also I had an idea: I think a cylinder shaped tank would look great in the midle of the room if there is enough space.
We all know he's got one laying around too 😉
That's a great idea.
A floor to ceiling one with a ton of schooling fish sounds so cool as a centerpiece.
Actually, I remember him mentioning a few videos back that the tanks have to be along the support beams, a cylinder tank may be too much for the structure to handle 😞
@@ryancarlisle5945 😟
This is getting more and more intresting every day . Keep it up JOEY!!!
it really is . i can not wait to see his moving the first fish in to there. i bet it will be the rays going in there first
Joey, Your silliness cracks me up sometimes lol
Eye bolt (or eye bolt screw type) on top of board at the end of board , small diameter steel cable to eye bolt on wall about 4-5 feet above the white bracket and no bow….could even cover steel cable in vines or something
I was just going to recommend that!
I think a large circular tank would look great right in the middle of the room
A shallow turtle 🐢 environment!!
Absolutely that same Joey 🦘 had on right hand side after entering his earlier gallery.❤️
@@Rubysrescue pretty sure joey can't have turtles in nova Scotia butl would be cool
The cylinder tank??
@@saraha1382 bigger it might look a bit weird with such a small cylinder maybe something like 4 or 5 foot diameter.
I keep wondering why you are not having huge, industrial sized, professionally installed displays setup for this gallery... but than I realize DUH, you're the F'ing King of DIY! It's supposed to be this way, it wouldn't make sense to hire a company to come in and create everything for you. And thats why I love it! Thanks Joey!
bro, big thanks for finding time to film even though you are really busy. WE APPRECIATE IT THANK YOU!!
The 'where'd I leave the tape measure' dance was the best part 😂
I feel like your back dude. Just your energy, your projects, your vision. It’s awesome and I’m happy for you dude.
Just get 1mm steel wire and guy it back to the bracket Joey. That will help against the bowing effect on the light holders. And since it's thin, almost invisible.
I was about to say this same thing. A small bolt from the end of the board and a wire to the top of the bracket. No more bowing and better support for the lights!
Was thinking the same, something easy to mount if the final lights prove to be heavier than expected
Yup, sagging needs to be adjusted for, especially with electrical lighting + water beneath. It's not that the wiring isn't waterproof, it's about being foolproof.
Yeah joey need to do this or it would bow down in time
I have been following you for a number of years now. It is great to see the content of your videos come full circle. From when you first started out doing DIY tutorials to setting up this place covering a lot of the same material. It is truly inspiring. From one Canadian to another, great job!
I love the light mounts. Can't wait to see them painted and tanks in place
Super excited to see how the lighting will turn out
Looks great Joey. Cant wait to see the finished product
This place is starting to look awesome can't wait to see it finished
So thankful for your positive get it done energy❤️
Joey, you are doing such a wonderful job.
Loving these videos. Plenty DIY and can't wait to see the reptile side develop
While I was watching your video, your book got delivered! Time for some reading!
"You really the king of diy"
I'm a small scale 1 tank 1 fish aquarist. But you're living my dream this hobby has done for me.
Love watching the progress! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you.
It's amazing. I can close my eyes and see it all coming together.
Bro I learned how to build my own office stand for a 100g tank from him and since then I have been hooked. I am loving where his content is going. My man is truely revolutionizing the content for fish keeping. There are many that have started their own personal channels but this public location is a game changer. I wish I was in Canada to go see it in person. I would love to meet him in person and pick his brain. I love it bro, keep it coming!!!
I feel the works are done so fast.... great job Joey.... always love your videos and I personally learn a lot from them.... 🤍
You have made such huge progress already. That place is going to be soo awesome!
Cant wait for it to be finished Joey!
The light brackets look awesome they will look great when it's all finished keep coming up with the great ideas Joey can't wait to see it finished
So excited to see this coming together!
Just finishing up my first fish tank stand following your pattern! Can’t wait to have it finished. I empathize so much more now with all the work you’re doing haha!
I am absolutely loving your progress!!!
Yes love it I’m excited to watch your channel, to see all of it.
If you run a wire from the top bolt on the brackets to the end of the boards it would look good and keep the boards from bowing
that is a really good point and it will look good on the eye to and keep the wire out the way
I can't wait to see the studio completely finished! Definitely would be the first thing I'd do if I go to Canada for anything
I've been keeping fish for 20+ years. And throughly enjoy your videos man. Learning something new all the time. Thank you from my little 8 tank gallery haha.
I just can not wait its so cool
Lol... absolutely phenomenal...keep it up. We're here fullly supporting

That’s going to look ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!
When this place opens I’m getting a passport just to visit from Las Vegas!
LOVE the bracket idea and not even slightly upset that they are installed upside down. Looks like it was meant to be!
You deserve it joey, make your dreams come true. I will never stop watching.
I love these videos. Super excited to see the finished product..
It's great to see you so excited! Your enthusiasm is...I'm feeling it...contagious!! Go cat go!!

God bless brother taking on 2021 like a King
Love the ideas, if I was doing shop lights I'd fix them to the beams but also the idea of 2 of your pro lights would suit yourself better
Thank you for the content Mr Joey
Looks good man, I can see the excitement in your videos. 👍🏼
Favorite Aquarium Channel By far...I love that he is back to some DIY stuff...
Love the energy, gratitude (aka 'mush') and enthusiasm! Very fun video start to finish!!!
Was really awesome to watch this video, your excitement is contagious, I look forward to watching this all come together.
I absolutely love your videos man, I’ve almost watched every single one from the beginning until now, keep them coming
I am so excited!!! Every video is so fantastic
I love seeing the same energy that brought me to watch you religiously so many years ago
I like the light mounts! I love the videos because it gives me great ideas and helps me think outside the box!!! Keep on keepin on
love it, can feel your excitement, and its ok to get mushy..
I like that the external setups (stands, tanks, etc.) are uniform and of course the inside of the tanks will be different (fish, decor etc.). I feel like it will give the gallery a clean uniformity. I have always liked that your focus on how you set up tanks is making the fish comfortable first and foremost. I think the way you're setting things up so far will put the main focus on the fish and their habitats. Looking great 👍
The book is awesome!!!!!!
Thank you! I personally still reference it!
I like seeing you excited about the journey you are taking us on.
Looks good! Can’t wait to see the tanks on them!
I'm excited too. This is fun to watch.
Looking awesome Joey! Hey we have all had some moments when we go through stuff and are not ourselves. We just have to have some grace and lift each other up instead of tearing down. You do an amazing job in everything you make, God has really given you a talent! Love your videos and your excitement. It has been a very rough year, I just lost my dad in April, he had dementia. I got to see him a week before he passed due to covid restrictions in nursing homes. Watching utubers like you is very fun, and also learn stuff and you give ideas that everyone can apply. I have 6 tanks, the biggest is 20 gal long. I have a black convict female who is so awesome, she's very interactive with the family. I have a pea puffer, African clawed frog, guppies and platies. I have very hard water too. You do such an awesome job with your tanks, we downsized our home so my tanks had to down size too. I had a 55 gal. for 20 yrs, and a parrot cichlid for 10 yrs. Ok I've written a book, love the new gallery!
Joey, this is so great!
Light stands came out awesome!
I've been watching you for about 4 years now and watched every one of your videos. Cmon Joey, hurry up with the new gallery, what's taking so long..... Anyone would think it was a big project. 🤣🤣🤣 Love the lighting idea 💡👍
Your so excited it makes me happy 🙏❤️
Good on you mate, looking forward to following your new journey!
Looks great so far mate
Love this video style!!
Wow I was just about to research how to mount my lights but Joey came in clutch as always
Looking great so far!!!! This is so awesome you big mush
Lights are a great idea!!! They look awesome!!! Love the rock on the walls idea!!! Will add texture and tone down the blue. Will look amazing!!!! You have rejuvenated the channel, Joey!!! Just sensational!! Can’t wait for the next video!! 😃😃😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️
Great progress
Congrats on all the success Joey.
Great work and great planning joye likes always 👍
Cool idea bro loved it
I started watching Joey at 46 years of age now 56. Good job Joey! And yes, the last year and a half has been hard for all of us. Thank you sir for making it better.👍🏻🙂

hi DIY, hi everybody place is starting to come around really seeing your vision, a lot of hard work but well worth it looking great
I LIKE IT
I trust your vision, can't wait to see it finished.
Keep the content coming.
Peace ✌
Seeing you excited about this is getting me hyped
I think it looks perfect, really smart that you added space between the tanks
Great idea, I think the light brackets look good and will work nicely, especially painted black and blended in. The wood will bow as you say but no biggy. Love your work!
You are my inspiration...
I inspired for you...in this hobby..❤❤❤
