I’m studying composition and focus a lot on soundtracks, scoring, and motif usage, and thought it could be an interesting watch, as a good motif should be able to fit in multiple genres, moods, and styles of music. It's crazy how easy it is for our brains to distinguish between two sounds even when they're playing the same thing.

Overly commercial tracks that are lame and are often recycled melodies. It is true that after many years of music, there's few original melodies combinations but that doesn't justify the slop the music industry is producing these latest years. I agree that the average Trap song is getting cringe repetitive: always talking about violence, gangsta stuff, s3x, drugs, money...But few exceptions manage to make something good out of it and with a lyrics that have a deep meaning, beside the words usage. Not all of them, but some songs.
The fact you recorded this in the 1920s and at 10:00 you are wearing a shirt that is from a show that came out in 2010 means you have been working on this video for a very long time. Nice Vinyl Scratch Shirt btw ^_^
Actually, that's a great premise for an entire series of composition videos! Recognizing genre signifiers is something I've only done with a couple students, but it's really useful. Thanks for the idea! Now I just gotta find the time to follow through.

I’m honestly blown away by how much talent you have - you have an incredible understanding and feel of so many drastically different musical styles, and the production/mixing of all the genres was spot-on. And not only that, but you filmed and edited this together in a pleasing and entertaining way. I mean, everything from the lighting, to the different outfits, to the facial expressions...everything. I can’t even imagine the hours you put into this. How this video doesn’t have well over 1 mil views is beyond me.
