I built my big ramp 8ft wide for that exact reason. 4ft width seems small with 5th scale rigs. Huge negative is the ramp is no longer portable without a couple straps and tractor. I think Fresh Park makes 4 ft wide ramps that can be attached side by side but i wanna say they're about $800 each. Only portable solution I've found.
Great bash this truck is one of the best truck I’ve bash in a long time. Fun truck you can find them used for half the price. Strong as nails never broke anything and it takes a beating. Only thing I can think of people not wanting it is how heavy is it almost 30lb beast. Now I want arrma kraton exb next. 🔥
Everytime you say one more the landing spot gets further away from the jump lol. I love how lvc always seems to hit just as a person goes off a jump. I run into the same thing. Amazon up here has been my "go to" for Arrma parts up here. For my Xmaxx XRT parts I find Eliminator usually has what I need.
I would recommend a different radio all together like the new Flysky Noble NB4+ or the Radiomaster MT12 if you want a good solid, reliable and affordable radio. In my experience Radiolink doesn't stand behind their range claims and their products and the RC8X is a dangerous unstable system that should get recalled or banned. I regret buying my RC8X now and wish i just bought a DX5C at bare minimum but now that i have mine i'll keep it.
@@shawnrichardson118 I might get one of those DX6C's to try out Spektrum's systems and if i like it enough someday i'll upgrade to the new at this time iXSR.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Good for you, But mine has had signal loss\fade and glitching issues since day one. It once glitched and sent my race car straight into a wall at my local track it also once pinned my car wide open throttle for no reason while binding a receiver. Although mine still works and i still use it but once i get enough money for either a DX6C or the new iXSR from Spektrum i will sell or throw out my RC8X after that i will never buy another cheap Chinese junk radio ever again. But i now know don't trust no name Chinese brands and just a "Real" radio from a good maker like Futaba, Sanwa, Spektrum or Flysky that values their customers and doesn't try to hide bad reviews and press like Radiolink does.
I wish arrma made a monster truck. This is obviously the best value 1/5 but it's a big truggie, same as any kraton, or any arrma vehicle besides the gorgon.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs which is why ultimately I'm gonna probably get an xmaxx. I'll super glue the pinion on the shaft if I need to lol. Also I want to crawl through rough trails and the raised chassis is the best fit by far
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs 🤣🤣 bro we saw the reflection on your phone but hey it’s cool 😎 somebody said it might be cold were you at so I’m sticking with that
Lol. I was confused by your comment until I got to the end of the video and started talking about wondering if belted tires not ballooning was why they handled better at speed..... I'm still not sure if it was a joke, humble brag type lesson, or just random thought but I am positive the only positive to belted tires to me is they don't balloon but that's not such a positive in bashing since that ballooning creates more flippy flips.
I don't think ARRMA'S are as good a value as you get with an 8th scale HoBao , nor do ARRMA'S have as durable plastics as the top specced HoBao's either , and that goes for the ARRMA TLR too , the plastics durability just isn't as good as HoBao's 🤔
I don't think Hobao makes any 8s 5th scale bashers. What's your point? My Xmaxx isn't a durable as my much smaller, lighter Gorgon. You cannot compare different scale vehicles in any way. Much less durability. He's driving a near 30 lb truck. If it crashes there's a lot more force involved than a little 8th scale truck.
After seeing this, I'll be removing the wheelie bar from my Outcast 8S EXB. Which is unfortunate because it is a nice and useful wheelie bar. However, I have heard a few folks say that the weight of it will cause the wing mount to break when jumping the truck even with good landings. At first I thought it was maybe just the really big-air extreme basher guys. But then it also happened to RC4us pretty early on when he got his Outcast 8S (and he said he knew better but ran it as-is anyway) and he uses KC RC and Freshpark ramps. Now I see it has happened to you just using the KC RC ramp. I just got my KC RC ramp and have used it only once so far with the Outcast 8S, but it looks like the ramp gets enough air to put the wing mount at risk.
Looks like Garage Life RC does have their Kraton/Outcast 8S wing mount available now. Says it is compatible with the wheelie bar. Still probably going to run the stock one without the wheelie bar though. As Elon says the "best part" is "no part." Will pick one of these up if though if I still break the stock wing mount without the wheelie bar.
Best 1/5 RTR you can buy.

Cool truck, I'm planning on buying both this Fury Mega V2 for myself and the Gorgon kit for my Granddad hopefully sometime next year.
Really like the look of these tires! Outcast I was looking awesome out there 👍
Can't wait to fix mine up

Eliminator and Zone RC are my go-to places.
Nice1 Jason😁
Don’t forget to open up some on your connectors 😎
Good call!
Any day you get to get out and run something epic like an Outcast, Kraton, X-Maxx, DBXLE, is just as good dam day. 👍
Hey man, what gearing are you running?
Jason have you tried those on the Kraton 8S EXB yet?
I sold the Kraton a few months ago.
I really want the radio link transmitter I’m just afraid it’s to complicated for me is it easy to program?

The RC8X has been an awesome radio. No issues and lots of features. I don't use most of them. But I like the radio and receivers are a good price too.

I agree. I have always loved straight up Monster Trucks. Take the Outcast but use chevrons, and a Bigfoot, Grave Digger, etc... body.

Ok after rewatching I can see you don’t have a mask my bad . My apologies but I’ll never stop being suspicious 😂😂
haha. I was confused. :)
So you out there ripping the Outcast with a skie mask on 🤔 cool content just kinda confused.
I was thinking the same thing, very strange 😮😮
Looks like a beard and sunglasses to me
Maybe it's cold af? 😂
