- Gulfstream Aerospace’s largest aircraft, the five-zone G700, is on track to enter service in late 2022. The company has been flying a half dozen flight-test aircraft as certification nears. And the sixth-the first production G700, also known as P1-is the first of the type to have a full production interior. Gulfstream’s regimen for P1 includes more than 15,500 test points, examining and validating every cabin function so that customers will be comfortable on 7,500-nautical mile flights. Let’s step aboard P1 with Tray Crow, director of interior design.

That flight deck is gorgeous
Sorry for the re-upload, but we added some detail at the end. Thanks for watching!
@@maxwellsmith9045 I believe you are asking about stick that is sometimes referred too as a "unicorn horn" on the front of the test aircraft. That won't be on the final production aircraft as it is only used for flight testing purposes.
@@SpencerOlson can a G700 fly its maximum range 7500 NM with 19 passengers with 2 crew? Or nah
@@Deadpool-dq9iw The 7500nm range is based on 8 passengers and 4 crew.
@@SpencerOlson ohhh too bad
Beautiful!!! Amazing
Beautiful plane
Wanted to see 5 cabin configuration 🛫🤓
Stunning.
This, without a doubt, will be the standard in the business jet world to beat
Global 7500 beats it already.
@@satyamprakash6139 Negative
@@jaso5114 How is their statement a negative lol
@@tp5487 The Gulfstream is on another level and they just introduced the G800 so no arguing it
@@jaso5114 from which aspect?
An argument cant start if u havent brought a valid point
more gulfstream content please thank you
Amazing
this is the best content ever
I love this plane. It's so cool
It’s very classy and timeless. As long as I don’t have to go through the airport, I would be grateful to fly on this.
Configurated!
I'll take two please!
I want one. And I want my chief flight attendant to be a former Brit SAS/trainer butler.
You want Alfred pennyworth 😎
Lol
If I had the money, this is what I would want also.👍
I'll take 2!
Ok, I'll take one.
what i'm most impressed about is the active sidestick technology....
The drawers can be "configurated". Think that'd be Configured.
Not fan of the windows at the back of the galley bench. Wouldn't stuff get in behind that or are the inside window surfaces flush with the walls?
Why is there an older model tv?
please also tell the price in all the video in description
if i had money to own this thing I not taking meeting in air and working hard I will be relaxing inteiors of bbj's are much more authentic, luxurious and relaxing
Or you can go for Embraer, they make the same quality of aircraft at almost half the price of Bombardier or Gulfstream except it lacks those electric controlled seats and windows...
You may sell the seats as as separate ..business !
I like this plane nice aircraft. The adjustable seats and environment. ⭐🌟👏👍🤗😊🙂☺️
I would still prefer the yoke over the side stick. Flight deck is amazing.
I want G700 .
Where can I order one?
3:28 I am going to need the sport seats for barrel rolls
Price?
HE APPROACHES
Why does it sound like a train is going by the whole time?
Started looking through the comments to see if anyone else experienced the same thing.
g800 vs global 8000 video?
Configurated?
There is a lot of crystal on that aircraft.
Very well, old chap. I'll have two to go. Post haste!
2:40 Why are the seat backs so low? Looks like you have no head rest.
The head rest slides up from the seat back I believe
Why does it have this antenna in front?
I was thinking the same thing.
It's test instruments. Look at basically any experimental aircraft in history and they all had them.
To measure wind speed I guess....
"Configurated..."
Ok
1700 nautical miles doesn't sound right. I thought more like 7000 nautical miles for this air frame?
It said 7,500 NM in the video
What he is talking about is Functional and Reliability flights. It is one of the final phases of Flight Test Certification. They will do a number of short, medium and long range flights. Instead of using the maintenace normally done during Flight Test, they will using In Service maintenance schedule and aircraft release. Some flights will have FAA pilots and possibly EASA pilots as they require.
A Rolls Royce in the sky

Why do these Airplane manufacturers always use very tall presenters to showcase their planes, makes it look short and cramped
Shows that tall individuals can stand upright
🤫
why isn't there a stove
Perhaps the aircraft don't have enough current to power one? They don't really need much electricity for general cabin usage, so perhaps a stove is just too much for whatever generator they have on board. Gas is clearly not an option onboard a plane for obvious reasons.
^ note that this is just me spit balling an idea. I know nothing about aircraft electrical systems beyond having taken some potshot guesses about their capacity.
Most meals are prepared prior to the flight. The Galley has a microwave and a convection oven for heating the prepared food. A stove would require ventilation to the exterior which is not possible at altitude. I work for Gulfstream as a Cabinetmaker.
There is one,a convection microwave.
@@RyanHellyer good idea
@@brucewunderlich405 I didn’t mean a gas stove, I meant one like the type found on jets like widebodies
global 7500 watch out!!
Eh, I'll stick to Spirit
Je veux seize appareils en Super luxe combien ?👍❤️🎩🎩
Hahahaha hahaha Hey Lee this for you it been proven.
really....this sounds like a used car sales person selling a $10,000 car. Come on this is a magnificent aircraft and you talk about kitchen bench and cup holders. I think the marketing department needs a kick........I was in sales and marketing for 30 years
ACJ220 has killed this for good...
That cabin looks pretty bland compared to a Global 7500. I expected more of a wow factor from Gulfstream seeing as how they had a lot more time to get it right.
No one who buys this plane brand new would settle for the base configuration, anyway.
I agree. It's looks like a RV. The seats look nice enough, but the rest = average.
Give me a Cessna 152 over this any day of the week....
Imagine how cool it would be if they made it into a VTOL so you could go anywhere!
Configurated. Oops. Sorry but that isn’t a word. And Tray as a senior employee of Gulfstream and doing a showcase video really ought to know. And who checked before publication.. oh dear education standards have dropped. However stunning aircraft. That interior and indeed that of the Falcon 10x and the Bombardier have really stepped up a level.

Been waiting for this, and I don't like it.
The interior is disappointing
Looks very dull compared to the Global 7500.... Expected a lot more from Gulfstream......
Extremely cheap interior. I hope Gulfstream went back to hydraulic control systems like the predecessor G550, which is the last of the safe Gulfstreams instead of the dangerous G650 and up with drive by wire. Very bad and deadly mistake. I am in the process of purchasing a G550, which is the last of the safe and luxurious Gulfstreams with beautiful interiors, versus this cheap mobile home type look.
Should be a capable aircraft with excellent dispatch capability, everything has triple redundancy and built on G650 airframe.
We operate a few G550s and they are fantastic and reliable aircraft. We are looking to upgrade to G600s which technologically blow the 550s out of the water but we are concerned with their reliability. Time will tell but I must say the GV/G550 had their own growing pains for sure before they became what they are today.
@@jaso5114 the G550 has excellent dispatch reliability and so is the G650, other than the mishap during certification they all have a great safety record. We can't wait to get our hands on a G700 if it can have a revised range in excess of 7800nm.
I personally worked on the production line for the G550 and they are flying tanks. Fantastic Airframe.
However the G700 is leaps and bounds ahead. The Global 7500 is a very nice aircraft, that Falcon 10X is a beauty however.
Grey, Grey , Grey and even more beige....ugly interior
