It sounds easy and profitable. But, the main losses occur when the container is not cleared early at customs at the destination. Most of the yams get rotten
This is Good work,am asking this question,Do they buy yam from those farmers who produced like 1 acres of Yam ,let say if i have 1 acres of Yam can i see to them ?
My question is does our Government knows about food security? I think it's a good opportunity for our farmer's but right now as talking I'm in Techeman at Bono west region what we are experiencing here is that the exporters are tracing the Yams in the farms as new Yams are just poping out now. the locals can not afford the Yams due to rush for exporters. they are extra extra expensive so what will be our future as we know that some people want to control the world with food so what's our Government doing for our Ghanaian food security?
I hope my sister this Yam are not GMO please. Our health is very important for us. We should not embrace Gmo food in our Land full stop. Because others are making money but others are dying ( If is Organic I wish you all the best in life bro)
Ghana is already suffering from food shortage. Instead of focusing on producing more to sustain us, we are rather exporting the little we have. What sort of backward thinking is that.
Congratulations Madame for you're wonderfully job. Please can i get you're phone number so that we can exchanges some ideas abt this crop Madame. Am from Tanzaniaa Am

Very good question....we can't feed the outside world and be hungry
We need mechanized farms to produce more
Do the farmers do the export are he sell to the export
There is too much bureaucracy involve
That why it’s not meant for all of us. Either sell your produce to an exporter or wait till you are a commercial farmer.
My question is , must everybody own a farm before being able to get into the export market??
Not necessarily, you can partner with smaller holder farmers to supply the quality you want
