  • Imagine Supplying 60-80 Thousand Tons Of Your Farm Produce To The International Market?
Over the years, agriculture have transformed from growing per what the farmers want to what the market demands.
It is the desire of lot farmers to export however, requirements to meet and exporting into the international market requires a lot of work.
Our meeting and interview with Peter a Kenya investor in Ghana now partnering with a Ghanaian Farmer to export yam, is so inspiring.

I hope Ghanaians investors also do their deligent search on the product they import into the country....Government must put measures in place to stop importation of fertilizers and chemicals which couse cancer.

Africa regional variations in agriculture offer plenty of opportunities for interregional trade. I delighted to see Peter taking the lead and hopefully many will follow as we meet, greet and trade.

One of the major differences is too many people want to go into farming because it is lucrative but they don't actually want to be farmers. Like Steve Jobs wants the rewards without lifting a finger. Make that make sense. It's the reason why too many farms fail to make real impact. If you're passionate about farming clean food for Ghanian's to consume then get your hands dirty.

If Kenyans start producing Yams, West Africa will import from them within the next 5 years like Nigerians import Palm Oil from Malaysia and Indonesia who learnt palm production from Nigeria

    • @samuelappiagyei633

Malaysia came to Ghana to learn the oil palm production, not Nigeria, check your facts

That is stupid. Why da f will Ghanaians import yams when In we can basically grow yam anywhere in our back ysrd. because of our climate. Kenya has a different climate than ghana.

Enyo greetings, again wonderful information. Intertrade among African Regions (My choice of words) is the vision. Is the final destination of the Yam's Kenya? It was an eye opener for me to learn 70% of land in Kenya is arid land.

This is what I keep saying, the minister for food & agriculture needs to get off his bum and go look for trade deals for the Ghanaian farmer. The government then will make money from taxes and there will be inflows of foreign exchange and unemployment could be reduced.
