It's good to see dwc bringing watches for the masses unlike jwc and bwc only selling high end watches.
Movement maybe old but can't complain for the price as it's a well thought watch
Hoping to see them grow and bring good solid watches in India
Regarding the giveaway I know it's your choice, but you might wanna give it to a person who is already into watches (it's ok if they don't have a mechanical) who can value the same.
Handing it to someone who doesn't wear watches today may end up with the watch being in a drawer. I know because Maine mere papa pe already experience Kiya hai.. unko Raymond Veil ki ek watch di thi.. but that's in the corner of the house.

I totally agree that nowadays timex and titan are really not doing that much well with their good watches and prices....for eg Now you can't buy a timex weekender watch specially in India as they have discontinued their production which is really a bad thing....as Time passes good watches of such companies are getting discontinued and overpriced!!

One bad thing about dwc is that they use refurbished movements of hmt and citizen watches. They also use refurbished cases at times. Their only innovation is in terms of dial as the hands in this everest watch is available Aftermarket. It's written in their website also.
But what else can one ask for at a price of 3599.
