These are my best picks for an automatic watch under 10k available online. I really hope that rare pieces of Timex and Citizen start to show up more in the market, however, I didn't mention the Citizen in this list but remember that Citizen also holds good watchmaking expertise and, be mentioned in the future.
Alba is one of the best options If you are looking for heritage brands, coming with an in-house Seiko movement. DWC is also making some good stuff out there highly appreciable watches made yet and hopes in the future too.
Nonetheless - have a good one and a good watch. : )

Please mention regarding hacking movement in all of those alba watches.
For example HMT automatic watch also supports hand wound mechanism. Does alba watch supports this mechanism?
If not then we have to make some other arrangement to keep the watch on always.

Ya i will do so, but the main concern of the video was to give clarity abt good watches and not abt good movement. Even If the watch supports hacking it is not advisable to stop the movement to save power. Alba does not support both handwinding and hacking because its based on old technology movement of seiko . But yes, i will clear abt these in future videos too .

As timex open heart is not available, i would suggest you to buy timex marlin automatic for 11000, wait for deals as well. Your first automatic should be a heritage brand.

@14:30 the titan watch has a seiko movement, that rotor is seiko signature, can't recall the exact movement model, but some photos online, shows the "NH**" written on the automatic rotor. in fact if you look closely, most of titan's current automatic lineup uses seiko movement.

Nice smooth presentation, this is your first video I'm seeing. The video has some inaccurate statements and other opinions that I'd disagree with. For eg: sapphire coated crystals are a marketing gimmick - they are just as prone to scratching as regular mineral or hardlex crystals. And secondly, stating that watch collectors are not going to pick plated watches is just untrue. It is in fact easier for them to choose a plated watch since when you have multiple watches, each watch is worn less and therefore any plated watch will have less wear/risk the plating getting worn out. There are some other inaccuracies too. Tighten up your research and you'll have the potential to be a great channel.

I wanted to ask as this is my first time using a automatic watch, what things do we have to consider and how long will it require a servicing?
Since its a new watch, service will not be an issue for atleast 5 years.
Try to wind watch daily even if not in use to make sure the parts a moving.

I bought Timex TWEG16720 TX-1191 with black dial, black case, black crocodile leather strap with latest Miyota 8315 movement(60 hours power reserve and second hack) in 14,000 INR and I would say it's the best under 15000 budget. I was also seeing Alba watches(with old y676 movement with just 40 hours power reserve and without second hack and even without after sales service in India teir 2 cities and below)honestly they are nothing infront of it unless and until you have a big collection of 10+ watches then they are a collector's piece but for daily(office work) wearing they aren't worthy to spend on and even for collecting I would rather add 15 to 20k more for seiko with latest 4R36 but then again we are talking about tight budget. So my pick is Timex with miyota 8315 under 15,000 INR with 2 years of warranty and don't spend on alba unless and untill you want a divers watch with bold colours which can't go with formal attires much often.
Its all about perspective, I appreciate that!

Oh bro if you really want watches for 12k 36-38mm, only invicta have some options barely in stock have to visit watch stores for that. Timex marlin could be an option on tata clicq but it is 40mm. Otherwise find some preowned vintage automatic (seiko, orient, titoni, universal, sandoz) from your local watch shops
I was planning on buying alba as my first automatic watch but skipped on it due to non hacking movement and no winding, got invicta pro diver from US for 4k but my father loved it more so gave it to him gotta save up now for something special

No battery because it winds itself when you wear it or shake it( you can see the rotor moving).
New watches don’t require servicing that often but after 2-3 years if you notice that you have to set time regularly then consult a specialist which can suggest you to service the watch or not
