South Africa is feared for the physicality we bring to the game of rugby. So much so, that there were some recent rule changes which is a direct result from the gameplay of the Springboks before and during the RWC 2023. Pundants complained about player safety because Springboks are to big and too strong...
It's because of the boring nature of their game play, and the fact that its leading to less fans..... I switched to league because of the boring AF scrums and lineouts. So has most of Australia, and New Zealand.
Rugby was the first to have codified rules, but only by two years. The rules of rugby were first codified in 1871, while American football rules were drawn up in 1873 by representatives of Yale, Columbia, Princeton and Rutgers Universities
South Africa are strong physically however NZL are not afraid at all. NZL has many times run circles around them. The best matches have and will always be Springboks playing AllBlacks. It’s just shame that in recent World Cup that the match wasn’t 15 on 15. And before South Africans jump down my throat…red card was right call….however NZL playing 62mins out of 80mins in a final against 15 isn’t the type of game or final we want to see.
South-African here. Massive respect for the All Blacks, in all games. Even if the red was the right call, it’s a shame it had to happen to Sam Cane, who is such a professional. Can’t wait for the next game.
The yellow team is Australia. There used to be heaps of fighting in rugby. Then they started introducing longer abd longer suspensions, and now players don't want to miss a bunch of games because they threw a punch. So now they just push and shove. It's a shame.
Orange is Australia. The Tri Nation(Compitiion between the following countries) compose New Zealand Australia and South Africa so they are used to playing them.
Ok ok, here is the video when players snap and start throwing hands. Also these are biggest hits. Mostly Rugby League which is a slightly different game to Rugby Union. But you'll get the idea - video is "Rugby hits - till I collapse" ruclips.net/video/7ckKqwlBiEU/видео.html
This video doesn't really show why the Springboks' are the most feared rugby team in the world. If you want to see true Springbok brutality you should check out Springboks vs the British and Irish Lions 2009 2nd test.
I dont get how people make a reaction video without knowing wtf ia going on...must be an american thing. (No wonder reaction videos is the "it" thing now...being original had a $&x change)
@@robertlubbe8990 I know right😂 lol. This guys obviously a New Zealander. It really hurts their egos knowing that not just the Boks are better but so is Ireland.
@@robertlubbe8990Across 105 tests, AllBlacks have won 62, the springboks 39. South Africans only go on about world cups, of which they won last one playing against 14 NZL players. They did that to recover the market they lost in Australia with rugby league. Idiotic, yes, but it wasn't because of the springboks.
Not by England your not

❤ the springboks & kiwis. Watch chasing the sun 1 & 2 - you get the backstory of the players & the build up - amazing!
More Springbok rugby videos please!!
In the old days fist fights and stomping on a player was part of rugby, but since the sport became professional it’s now illegal

You should watch the videos of Eben Etzebeth. Man is 🙌 he's No.4 who was in most of those fights😂
The thing is to antagonise and take one for the team so that the guy that throws a punch gets sent off.
very nice reaction boys, thanks for showing support
