Personally I like to hold on to my 1x31 dittos even if they aren't super valuable to sell on their own instead of including them in the bulk sales. In my experience having reserves of various 1x31 dittos can help trim margins on breeding for profit down the line. Love the video!
@@PryzmDragon I try to mix it up! But usually I try to focus on mons that are tied to some sort of existing (and preferably newer!) raid/rerun strategy. So for example I’ve targeted things like darumaka, medicham, cyndaquil, squirtle (all 2x31 w/nature) but a lot of that changes depending on what I have access to due to swarms and markets.
I have seen the Espeon method floating around and I have tried both methods, I assume the espeon method would do better in the long term money wise although as I farm dittos on my alt on my phone, having to pick a spore mon every ditto was just really annoying for me, so I prefer this method where it only involves one pokemon, much easier to do on phone. But yes I assume the sync mon would be better in long term,
@ Yeah if you are wanting to grind dittos while watching a movie etc its a super easy strat to do without looking at your phone, I listen out for the ditto sound and do it blindfolded its super easy and nice
try smeargle with false swipe, spore, assist, and non-damage move and a pokemon with only have pay day move, just pay day on whismur and loudred for extra yen
I personally catch dittos on an alt on my phone, i'd rather just run and catch dittos only. This method you'd only be able to use 1 Smeargle too, which would mean you'd have to go heal much more often.
you can use dusk ball on johto.. but you need to be catching during night time... i always farm ditto on johto for lego chance and better shiny variety.. when its day time.. i catch 25 ditto on hoenn the switch to johto using repeat ball for the said reason
If you first spore then false swipe, will the dream ball be at 4x and make it more efficient next turn? Or is the chance for the mon to wake up after swiping not worth it?
the dream ball thing was changed again in the Christmas update it does not go to x4 on turn 2, They changed it so: Turn 0: 1x Turn 1: 1.5x Turn 2: 2.5x Turn 3: 4x So to answer your question, no dream balls are hardly ever used.
@@marameojanene00 If it stays asleep all 3 turns you can, although it will most likely wake up before then. If you substitute turn 1, after the ditto transforms it may also win the speed tie and use Substitute itself, making your false swipe or spore not connect. I personally wouldn't use Substitute at all on my Smeargle :)
May I ask what your personal favorite/best *free* shunt locations are? 🤔 Unova is the first region that comes to mind, especially with the changing seasons.
From my experiences they make about the same. Although hitting a 3x31 ditto instantly grants you 200-300k. So I really do think dittos have more potential. Plus a shiny ditto sells for 5m, if you are the type to sell shinies. Although They're both easy to do, and both make around the same an hour on average so its up to personal preference.

breloom is a grass type, you cant spore grass types
