Hi Ross , I think I remember you mentioned that you weren’t a fan of billy hunt .. but as you said it’s saying something when we picked the same album but different sides. I also love English settlement .. great response 👍
Great response Ross. It probably was Halleluiah at the end of side 1 of Steve McQueen which stopped me showing it (not a bad song at all though). I really must give Belle & Sebastian another go! I never knew that Bruce sang The Jam's version of David Watts. Totally agree about Diamond Dogs side 2, I could easily have featured that one. Nice pick with the Aztek Camera.👍
Yeah I reckoned that if Halleluiah had been on any other album it would have been a highlight so while a step down compared to the first 5 tracks, is still great. Yeah you should try Belle and Sebastian, while I think Sinister is their best album their 2003 album produced by Trevor Horn Dear Catastrophe Waitress might be of more interest to you.
Hi Ross- Great choices here! XTC for sure; I also chose Steve McQueen (Two Wheels Good in the US) for my thread response too 👍 Funnily all the ones I chose were side 1s- I’ve greatly enjoyed seeing the variety of responses to Richard’s thread- great stuff! Cheers-R

Three of my top five acts here! Good on you. XTC, Costello and Prefab sprout.
