I am excited to share that after watching your video I decided to apply for the gold card last month. It is approved today. Thanks for sharing your experience.
@@wanderingsoul2909 I applied through science & technology category. The process was very simple and straightforward - you upload your supporting document with application. The notified me and asked for more documentation and I resubmitted them.
If I am married to a Taiwanese citizen who has resided in the US with me for decades. Now that we are considering retirement in Taiwan we are wondering what is the best visa to get to return to Taiwan? We are both CPAs, but upon returning to Taiwan we wouldn't actually be looking for work. I think the Gold visa would work, but ultimately we would try to get health care under my wife's citizenship.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. I am in the same situation right now. At the end, could you and your family get in Taiwan with the Resident Visa or you have to use your plan B?. Thanks!
Yes we received the resident visas with plenty of time. The turnaround time was much faster than they had estimated haha. After arriving in Taiwan it took about 30 minutes to submit everything for their resident cards at the immigration office. Very smooth process!
