I’m a Pingtung born Taiwanese American looking forward to spend my retirement in Taiwan. Unfortunately I have been in US for over 50 years and I lost my original Taiwanese passport. I had to take a few trips to Taiwan to obtain my household certificate for proof. This has been a long three year journey. Lat week I received a phone call from TECO-LA letting me know my Taiwanese passport has been approved. It’s truly a big relief.
Your contributions to Taiwan and your efforts in aiding societal growth and progress make us proud of you! You are truly outstanding! Keep up the good work!!

While many people are trying best to get their US or Canadian green card, you got permanent resident card from Taiwan. Guess you must love Taiwan very much. Good for you!
Congratulating you on getting the PARC card finally. I know you have gone through the wringer and gone through with the teaching in Taiwan for 5 years but compared with making films introducing foods, I think teaching English in Taiwan is more valuable. it would be great for you to be an English teacher and a youtuber at the same time. People in Taiwan have confined their approach to knowledge to the mandarin -writing texts which have long been dominated by Kmt and now Ccp. If Taiwanese are conversant with English and given the access to the English materials easily they'll be linked up with the rest of the world much easier and it also broadens their horizons.😮

I got my APRC in 2019. It was an unbelievably easy process. Only headache was the hour wait at the Taipei immigration centre. The actual interview took less than 5 minutes. APRC means alot less headaches and easier life in Taiwan. Welcome to the club, Wes!

但是台灣的都市空間規劃, 建築美學真是讓人不敢恭維, 尤其混亂張揚的招牌, 鐵皮屋加蓋, 危機重重! 消防安檢不是要求必需防火建材嗎? 為何都市裡街道上仍然那麼多鐵皮屋???
我也是去過三十幾個國家旅遊過 真的多出去走走看看 才會知道 台灣最適合人們生活 在台灣至少安全 方便 舒適 溫馨。
