BEST GODAMN DDAY ANIMATION EVER! The bunkers arent that stupid "Schabelstand" Bunkers used for observation unlike real life. THE BUNKERS IN THIS ANIMATION ARE REAL!
My great uncle was in D Day. He was a paratrooper in the 101st airborne division. He lived all the way until the end of the Battle of the Bulge. Also great job on the video. Keep up the great work.
Dwalker, I never thought you’d use digital effects, and while I’m not a big fan of it, I do think this is one of your best films set and animation wise!
this stopmotion is wonderful the lighting is what most d-day lego stopmotions forget i feel like lego d-day stopmotions always have bright sky and stuff instead of a dark sky
Well done. The angles and Canada movements added to the atmosphere and the vfx were great also. The animation at times was a bit choppy and could have been eased in and out make but the thing is that you were working with many figures and strange terrain so I think it’s fine. Overal great work
I love how history was re-created in this video -- especially regarding "bangalore torpedoes" (tubes that were connected end-to-end to make one long pole that was pointed toward the sea wall and pushed up against it). A second after the 2:11 mark, you can here the actor Tom Hank's voice say, "Bring up the bangalores." The tubes were filled with stuff that's good for making a hole in a wall and disintegrating barbed wire. The plan worked, and the sea wall fell down as shown in this video (2:27). The U.S. Army soldiers from the 1st Infantry Division (nicknamed "the Big Red 1") ran up the hill (2:37) behind the wall that fell down. This happened in Normandy, France on a portion of beach a few hundred yards wide. This portion of the beach was code named "Omaha Beach" by the Allies. The link below explains a little about how the U.S. Army 29th Infantry Division was involved. After climbing up cliffs nearby, units from the U.S. Army Rangers approached from the side. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omaha_Beach Other beaches at Normandy were code named Utah, Gold, Sword, and Juno by the Allies. And the Allies from several countries began to liberate occupied France by way of these beaches on 6 June 1941. Infantry Divisions of the U.S. Army were assigned Omaha Beach and Utah Beach.
This is a great animation! It is really well done and must have taken a lot of time and effort. Thank you for featuring our products in your video. ❤️

I love it I thought mine was ok but this is just magnificent! 👌
where did you pick the sounds of the stop motion?
Why was there just a bunker that has a square hole on it's side? in 1:20
The bunkers you see in saving private Ryan weren’t actually at Omaha beach. These ones I made are more realistic
