I agree its very smooth. But the creator uses a frame blender to achieve this look. While it does make the animation smoother, it actually just compensates for lack of animating skill.
Let's ignore the movie/tactics/faithfulness for a moment and admire how friggin' good these Lego renditions are for every vehicle in the scene. This isn't just a tribute to the film, it's a masterclass in custom construction.
This movie is unrealistic, a trained panzer 6 crew shoots at the leading tank first to cut the tactical communication between the squad and yes if they can shoot at a long range they must properly see the leading tank if that would be a real fight Panzer 6 can win it easily
It depends on the situation. If you want the enemy column to retreat, you shoot the leading tank. If you want to block the path of retreat and force them into battle with you then you shoot the rear to trap them.
Also fury didn’t know where tiger 131 was so the tiger commander didn’t even need to reveal themselves. Also fury has a 76 millimeter gun a lot more lethal tiger crews often killed these first it was so rampant Sherman crews tried to camouflage their gun so it’s a great movie but it would have ended their for fury if it was realistic
Since everyone is going on about how the Fury's 76mm should have gone through the Tiger, it is worth noting that tiger crews were veterans and a) would have targeted the lead tank first which b) was a variant they knew was the threat and c) they would have remained in place. But that aside, beautiful animation
true ,German Tank tactics state that the first tank should be shot first and then the last take to stop the column from advancing, but if we wanna be even more realistic Fury should have not been the first tank but the second tank as it's the more valuable tank since it has the larger weapon. The Allies found this out due to, well this most 76 tanks were getting knocked out since they were at the front of the column. They also tried to camouflage the barrels of long 76's with a white wavy line to break up the silhouette of the larger gun, most notably seen on British Fireflies. (Similar to dazzle camouflage used on Allied navy ships during the war). With the Tiger I 100% agree that it shouldn't have left that concealment, it was perfect cover (I know it was a real Tiger in the movie, but the desert camo wouldn't have helped either lol). Also German heavy tanks would have worked in packs so realistically there would have been either another Tiger or at least a Panther with it. I do like the movie it's a great war movie, but just not a historically accurate one.
As a person who did alot of debunking with this scene I think a good reason for why the tiger engaged the way it did was because it could have been a new tank crew given a tiger and was just sent to the frontline and seeing how desperate the germans where at the end of the war I can agree on that orthe tiger could have not seen the entire tank column because of the mist and low visibility and thought it was a lone sherman and took the kill than saw the others after, I discussed with many other people about this and they seem to agree aswell, than again it could just be Hollywood messing up you never know.
@@jamzu759 It's Hollywood messing up. Tigers were not give to green crews, and generally had better optics than American tanks (but worse turret suspension) and it would have seen all the tanks. It happened the way it happened for drama and cinematic effects.

Fun fact: the thickness of the tiger’s side and rear armor is the same, so you Shermans technically didn’t have to go round the back, just the side would do. Also, pitt’s easy eight should’ve punched straight through the tiger’s front at that range. And he should’ve been the first one hit, and then the rear.
Another fun fact the tiger 1s 8.8 kwk would have liquefied the Sherman's crew where it hit the wood, wood isn't that great for armor belive it or not but plot armor is indestructible
