Lego WW2 D-Day The Battle For Omaha Beach stop motion animation. Created by Chris Animations.
Inspired by Saving Private Ryan and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
The Battle of Omaha Beach, also known as D-Day, took place on June 6, 1944, during World War II.
It was a crucial amphibious assault carried out by the Allied forces, primarily the United States, against German-occupied France. The objective was to establish a beachhead and gain control of Omaha Beach, a heavily fortified area along the Normandy coast.
The American forces faced strong German defenses, including machine gun nests, artillery fire, and obstacles. The initial landing was met with intense resistance and resulted in high casualties. However, through determined efforts and the support of naval and air bombardment, the American troops managed to break through the German defenses and secure the beachhead.
The success at Omaha Beach played a pivotal role in the overall success of the D-Day invasion and marked a turning point in the war in Europe.

Ok
dog greens shingle was a brick slope the Americans did not get mowed down in there boats they were allowed to move 100 yards before getting shot they were in LCAs not Higgins boats and there were only two in the first wave the boats landed far out in the water not a the beach and last there were no towering bunkers 90% of germans were just in a trench
Stop-motion animation is an incredible art form that has captivated audiences for decades. When applied to a historical event like the D-Day invasion of WWII, it can create a truly captivating and immersive experience for viewers. A Lego stop-motion of the D-Day invasion can be particularly amazing because it combines the nostalgia and simplicity of childhood toys with the gravity and historical significance of one of the most important events of the 20th century.
The attention to detail required to create a stop-motion animation is impressive in and of itself, but when combined with the accuracy and historical knowledge necessary to recreate the D-Day invasion, the result can be truly awe-inspiring. The level of research required to create an accurate depiction of the invasion, from the uniforms and equipment of the soldiers to the terrain and vehicles used, demonstrates a deep respect for the historical event and the sacrifices made by those who took part.
Additionally, the use of Lego figurines adds an element of whimsy and playfulness to what is otherwise a somber topic. By representing soldiers and military equipment with toys, it creates a sense of nostalgia and reminds viewers of their childhoods, while still telling a serious and important story. Overall, a Lego stop-motion of the D-Day invasion is a testament to the power of art and storytelling to convey complex historical events in a unique and innovative way.
"Well actually"! 🤓
definitely taken from chatgpt.
Today is making 79 years of D-Day!!! Amazing!
This is just like saving private Ryan’s script. In a good way.
This is just saving private ryan in Lego

detail and photography is awesome not to mention the historical accuracy
This is amazing! I can't imagine the amount of time and effort that it took to make this. Great job!
Thank You!
Well done homage to Saving Private Ryan. Got all the references.

The new German minfigs make it quite cool and clean
This one of my favorite by far, not saying the others are bad.

Thanks!

7:29 the cannon explosion was really smooth and good!
Thank You ;)
some of those “scenes” stra8 outta saving private ryan
I realized when he picked up his arm lol
love the private ryan references!
Dude, that looks sick! You're getting really good!
I appreciate that.
I also love the green Wehrmacht uniform.
Thank You ;)
Man was straght up getting his arm like it was nothing💀
It is funny. But he was most likely shell shocked and didn’t realize what was happening for a second.
“Adrenaline is a hell of a drug..”
I love the saving Pvt Ryan recreation you are very talented
Great animation, I'm also making a video about Omaha Beach right now.
I always hear these certain sound effects from all kind of games going from call of duty and Medal of Honor.
very stirring
Nice job! The animation looks very smooth. I love those artillery guns!
Thanks!
Pov your one of the front people in the boat: I am already dead
And another master piece of stop motion... looks awsome, but I have one thing: we allready ave hundrets of D-Day animations... there are so many more interresting battles.. could you pls make one of the "not so known"?
I'm afraid that when I'll do "not so known" battle, no one would watch it, so right now I'm doing the popular ones to grow my channel and gain audience, and then maybe I'll do other stuff
@@ChrisAnimations97 Sounds like a good plan :)
I like the stuff added from saving private rayan
This is one to one the landing scene of Saving Private Ryan but still nice to see!
That gave me chills watching that. Great job man! I just subscribed
This is a big step up from your previous animations, all that need to be done now is to make a proper running animation, maybe by removing a few frames from the wall cycle and then leaning them forward and adding blood effects and you can be able to make true masterpieces, hats off to you chris
It's like Saving Private Ryan!!!!
I love this video respect
Thanks :)
Nice animation
I clicked on this and immediately liked it because I love these but I already liked it so it unlocked and then I liked 😂
Just how. How did you make it looks like so realistic keep up the good work

This was brilliant! Thank you! 🙏
You're impressive!
So good video ❤❤🎉
Thanks!
super cute
That was brutal.
That bar rifle was slick just amzing nothing better than this ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The men who made it onto the shore during the first wave should be given respect because they must have a lot of luck to survive the machine guns and were probably pinned down for hours
Amazing

Great job!!! Love the fog effects! And the loading of the artillery was so smooth
Thanks!
Yes I’ve never been able to get that in my own videos
I seem to remember this scene, Lee Marvin and the Big Red One.
Nice nice
Thanks!
Amazing animation! One point for improvement could be to make the projectiles fly faster. That would look more realistic to me.
Great job but bombs landing looks unrealistic. The other scenes look just fine!
No offence but I’d like to see you do better
robisz coraz lepsza robotę. Brawo!!!

amazing set😊
Thanks :)
It’s good but saving private Ryan needs its credit for audio
This is incredible! Very nice work!
Thanks!
nice moc, nice figs and runs smoothly. keep up the great work!
Thanks!
Dude I love your other videos so I knew this one would be insane. Great job! You’re one of my favorite lego WW2 creators
Thank You ;)
Btw where do you get your WW2 figs? They look so good and I’ve been trying to look for some
I understand stop motion can be hard. My friend and I made a not really too good stop motion and it was 15 seconds long but it took like an hour to make so an 8 minute stop motion that looks sick is really hard
@@towerdefensesimulatorpro4926 You can buy them from aliexpress
Nice job! Quite entertaining!
so great! i love the special effects and editing

Nice creativity .same like movie 👌👌👌👌👌
Still a great stop motion

Everyone calls it BAR but its B.A.R and B.A.R stands for BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFFLE
Greatly done and beautifully set up. Have a lot of admiration for this, thank you.
This is what I’m been trying to make on my phone 😂
this is a really cool animation, maybe work on realism next time.
I noticed that where the artillery were it looked like ww1
this is very cool though
Good job! New german figures change stopmotion better than your othter animations!😃 Congratulations 💪👏
Thanks!
Nice, you did a great job u should be on Americas got talent lol😂😂😂😂😂😂
is sense MOH i upvote
Nice job 👍
Thanks!
These are such great videos, and I love showing my daughter, who is 8, them as it really gets her interested in what happened.
But let's clear one little bit up. The comment about D-day being primarily US led.
The make-up of the allied forces were 73,000 US troops (23,250 on Utah Beach, 34,250 on Omaha Beach, and 15,500 airborne troops), and 83,115 British and Canadian (61,715 of them British) with 24,970 on Gold Beach, 21,400 on Juno Beach, 28,845 on Sword Beach, and 7,900 airborne troops.
While it is important not to forget history, let's be sure not to blur what happened.
This video is fantastic.
What app you use for the special effects and for the voice ?
👍👍
Great animation but u could make things a bit faster especially the bombs for a more realistic effect
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wasn't just Omaha. Utah, Juno, Gold and Sword. And that's just the land invasion, let's not forget the paratroopers, pilots, navy... D-Day AKA Operation Overlord was so much more.
Amen
