In my opinion, You can go with any solid color which is light so that main focus remains on you not curtain.. Lighter grey seems better option if dirt is concerned.
Agar windows se excessive light-heat na aa rahi ho and privacy ka koi issue na ho, tab kya karein??
For a bedroom which does not get direct sunlight but which makes the room bright the whole day what type of curtains will darken the outside bright light from entering the room.

Blackout means no sunlight will pass through them.. Yes it will decrease heat from sun light.

Agar drawingroom window wall ke beech me ho aur height bhi 9ft ho to kaise curtain lagane chahiye upar tak ya window se thoda upar please help me out.
If its a small window, then cover with small curtain. My living room has huge windows next to balcony door. I have covered them with full length curtains like he mentored.
If its in between the wall.. I would rather go for blind!
If you want to go for curtains only, Try having extra curtains which will cover one side of wall as well.. Yes it makes no sence functionality but it may create an illusion of more windows behind & will look better.
And ya about height.. Hang it as close to celling as you can or match the tallest height furniture piece of the room like wardrobe.

As you mentioned fight among furniture.... I feel that it happens in my house between curtain and blind. In my case blinds are in dark colour but I am not able to select curtains in light colour so that they can enhance the beauty of blinds. What to do please assist me.
Buy sheers in same colour as blinds
Yes sheer of same colour as blinds is a good solution if the light coming from windows is not harsh!
@@manjuk1708 thank you so much for your suggestion but I forgot to tell you that for yellow blinds I used white cotton curtains and for blue blinds I used same curtains eventhough I purchased heavy curtains in greyish and off white colour. Can I share pictures of these to get an idea. Where should your viewers share pictures of such things????
