Speaking of Pain, unironically I think Pain vs Nagato would be interesting. Or at least Edo Nagato, since for most of the battle Kabuto was controlling him and barely used his abilities to their fullest, even forgetting about Shibaku Tensei for the majority of the fight. Potentially Healthy Alive Nagato/Unrestricted Edo Nagato could be way beyond his feats in the battle against Naruto which is already ridiculous in it's own right. Because even Kabuto controlled Nagato is already above all the Pains individually duh, but a 1 v 6 is always bad odds. Especially since his Animal Summons wouldn't help him reduce that problem for once since the summons would equal out.

I personally believe that Pain would win over Itachi one on one, but Obito (before he powers up in the war arc) would be tough because of his ability to go through objects and his ability to teleport himself and others to the 4th dimension. We overhype Obito a lot. Simply because of his Kamui, which I understand. However, beside the Kamui and hashirama cells, obito didn’t have much going for him. If he were more powerful than Pain and could kill him, why didn’t he kill Pain and take his rinnegan. After all, that’s what he wanted. Obito isn’t stupid. He knew he couldn’t take pain on. That’s why he had to manipulate Pain and became the akatsuki’s shadow leader. You don’t manipulate those you have the power to kill. And if you remember, when obito identity was revealed during the fight with Naruto and madara was identified by Ohnoki, this point of view shattered. And we hear clearly the five Kages admitting that the fear of madara was what kept them from actually going after Obito. Just like Minato, the five kages and everyone else who encountered Obito, pain feared attacking Obito because, again, like everyone else, he thought obito was the legendary Uchiha Madara. It was Madara’s identity obito stole, that saved him up until he was able to power up and started the war.
@@georgebluekelly thats a very fair argument and was definetly a factor however pain personally studied obito for years so he had a pretty good idea of obito's strength and abilities but instead of actively challenging obito with all of the knowledge that he and konan had he instead chose to follow orders and go capture the ninetails which would of been the final step in the akatsuki's plan and his last chance to stop obito from getting the bijuu. nagato's belief in his own divinity and being the 2nd sage of six paths should trump obito's clout of being a weakened madara especially after years of studying him and running simulations with konan. and this is all mainly reinforced by minato who fought and beat obito after thinking he was madara that obito is stronger so obito's title wouldn't really mean much after he lost. i think saying pain is definetly a point of view with merit and theres definetly a case to be made for it being true. I just think theres strong evidence that he's greater than pain and i think thats more consistent with the narritive.

@@alehh_novaes I like Itachi too and I think he’s probably on the same level overall as Jiraiya, but Jiraiya pretty much got destroyed by Pain. Let’s face it: alive Itachi was suffering from chakra illness. When pushed to his limit, he could barely sustain a 10min fight with Sasuke, who by then wasn’t even as strong as he’d be at the Five Kage Summit, where he got trounced. I know Itachi wasn’t trying to slay Sasuke, but he still had to expend his stamina and strength to not immediately perish under Sasuke’s assault, as he needed to wear Sasuke down to the point where Orochimaru came out to play. So you could say that alive sick Itachi scaled to around Summit Sasuke, who was stated to be much stronger than before he received Itachi’s eyes. In short, Itachi just doesn’t have the stamina or durability to outlast all 6 paths of Pain. He doesn’t have a response for Almighty Push beyond maybe his incomplete susanoo; he doesn’t have the mobility to handle the mecha path or the animal path’s relentless assaults; he doesn’t scale taijutsu-wise to sage-mode Naruto, who held his own but ultimately fell to the Deva path and needed to rely on Kurama; and even if Itachi took out a a couple of paths, there’s the other path that can revive the fallen. And the Paths all share vision and sense, which means Itachi would need to dominate all six paths plus summons in order to inflict genjutsu on them… but we’ve never seen him use Tsukuyomi on more than one opponent at a time. An Itachi who was fully healthy and had a complete susanoo might be a different story, but we’ve never seen that full-potential Itachi realized. Going strictly off of feats, we know for a fact Itachi is weaker. Otherwise he probably would’ve done away with Pain a long time ago to protect Konoha

Can pain absorb better than kisame? I dont think thats factual.. also kisames water protects him from alot of pain jutsu like the push and pull and planetary devistation.. how can pain trap kisame if hes under a lake of water? Yes, he can he can fully absorb and eight tails of v2 Bee in the war, Kisame can only absorb six tails of a v1 Bee and implies he couldn’t do more when the same isn’t implied for Pain.

To be fair, except for Obito and Pain nobody would really survive the 600 Billion Paperbombs that killed Obito. Obviously without that in her backpocket she loses against everyone except for Hidan. But still, crazy to think about.
shouldn't pain beat obito since he's aware of the kamui timer? i know obito has izanami, but that brings the fight more to a stand still than a win for obi. also i don't think kamui is a BFR win. in fact, i think kamui'ing the pains would be *more* dangerous and would actually make the fight easier for them.

@@jackschwanke603 naruto improved massively in base during the rasen shuriken training not just developing the jutsu he then went on to train with the toads which also improved his base stats and taijutsu skill this is demonstrated at the 5ks where he isn't really shown too or implied to improved from his pain arc self yet his base is = to sasukes base after the summit where his chakra got amped to be far stronger than cm2 hebi sasukes. (there both nerfed when they meet so there nerfs should cancel out) which is consistent with his previous comparisons to kakashi.
Planetary Devastation and full powered Almighty Push can both just instantly give Pain a win against almost anyone. I don't think even Itachi's Susanoo could counter those both. Hmmhm. Obito's Kamui could counter them though.

Speaking of Pain, unironically I think Pain vs Nagato would be interesting. Or at least Edo Nagato, since for most of the battle Kabuto was controlling him and barely used his abilities to their fullest, even forgetting about Shibaku Tensei for the majority of the fight. Potentially Healthy Alive Nagato/Unrestricted Edo Nagato could be way beyond his feats in the battle against Naruto which is already ridiculous in it's own right.
Because even Kabuto controlled Nagato is already above all the Pains individually duh, but a 1 v 6 is always bad odds. Especially since his Animal Summons wouldn't help him reduce that problem for once since the summons would equal out.

Let’s face it: alive Itachi was suffering from chakra illness. When pushed to his limit, he could barely sustain a 10min fight with Sasuke, who by then wasn’t even as strong as he’d be at the Five Kage Summit, where he got trounced. I know Itachi wasn’t trying to slay Sasuke, but he still had to expend his stamina and strength to not immediately perish under Sasuke’s assault, as he needed to wear Sasuke down to the point where Orochimaru came out to play. So you could say that alive sick Itachi scaled to around Summit Sasuke, who was stated to be much stronger than before he received Itachi’s eyes.
In short, Itachi just doesn’t have the stamina or durability to outlast all 6 paths of Pain. He doesn’t have a response for Almighty Push beyond maybe his incomplete susanoo; he doesn’t have the mobility to handle the mecha path or the animal path’s relentless assaults; he doesn’t scale taijutsu-wise to sage-mode Naruto, who held his own but ultimately fell to the Deva path and needed to rely on Kurama; and even if Itachi took out a a couple of paths, there’s the other path that can revive the fallen. And the Paths all share vision and sense, which means Itachi would need to dominate all six paths plus summons in order to inflict genjutsu on them… but we’ve never seen him use Tsukuyomi on more than one opponent at a time.
An Itachi who was fully healthy and had a complete susanoo might be a different story, but we’ve never seen that full-potential Itachi realized. Going strictly off of feats, we know for a fact Itachi is weaker. Otherwise he probably would’ve done away with Pain a long time ago to protect Konoha

@@jackschwanke603 naruto improved massively in base during the rasen shuriken training not just developing the jutsu he then went on to train with the toads which also improved his base stats and taijutsu skill this is demonstrated at the 5ks where he isn't really shown too or implied to improved from his pain arc self yet his base is = to sasukes base after the summit where his chakra got amped to be far stronger than cm2 hebi sasukes. (there both nerfed when they meet so there nerfs should cancel out) which is consistent with his previous comparisons to kakashi.
Planetary Devastation and full powered Almighty Push can both just instantly give Pain a win against almost anyone. I don't think even Itachi's Susanoo could counter those both.

There arent alot of complimetary fights to compare the two.. but that scaling makes zero sense. Bee fought kisame and sasuke pain fought naruto.. bee is relative to the raikage or stronger.. who is stronger than 5 kage summit sasuke. Who is blantly relative the sage naruto or stronger.. so 5 kage summit sasuke isnt even bee level. Soo how much stronger is 6 tails to sage mode? Idk bc both had the upper hand on pain. But to assume 6 tails is massively stronger is just not true.. and this sage mode naruto isnt even bee level. Since 5kss isnt.. also 5kss got bailed out so many times to i dont wanna hear it was a stalemate. 6 tails and bee are at best equals.. bee can also fire larger biju dama and is working together with his beast so i think you assumption is off. At best relative to eachother 6 tails isn’t massively strong by any means

@@jackschwanke603 Naruto fights are more complicated than “X blitzes Y”. KCM 1 can not just blitz pain with his shared vision, heightened perception and ability to fly also. There’s no reason why the frog that captured Naruto in the fight against Nagato can’t do the same against Pain. If any Rinnegan rod pierces Naruto he will be disoriented allowing for souls snatch and all his rasengans will easily be absorbed

Itachi solo guys, about Itachi vs Nagato where he was in a "hole of another level", and did't had reaction time for amaterasu, but let's just say 2 paths for some miracle have the reaction time, the last 2 lose to taijutso, itachi was comparable to kabuto perfect senim, and naruto mk1. About Chibaku Tensei Itachi could have used more power than he did, it's a fact, at that time he was in the mood to share the work with his companions, it also seems that they used more than necessary. And it can be avoided, simply by jumping over the rocks. But the reality Itachi is much smarter, always finishing quickly with genjutsu, the connection between the eyes is in real time, unlike the other senses, reinforced in the manga. Rinnegan is not immune, besides him not being the true heir of the doujutsu, like Kakashi who can't even fight against Itachi's genjutsu, even Madara changed the rinnegan to mangekyou to put Raikage in genjutsu. Obito rinnegan lost to kakashi genjutsu, Sasuke lost to visual genjutsu in boruto, and broke the illusion with the mangekyou. Itachi has already put Suburo of the Aburame clan in genjutsu by the sight of his insects. Itachi's genjutsu is like "day and night" compared to Sasuke's, there is nothing to prove that this fake rinnegan user can fight against genjutsu. And saying that someone is immune to genjutsu is the same thing as saying someone is immune to taijutsu and ninjutsu, it makes no logic or sense.
And let's say his eyes is not real time connection diferent from the order senses, his bodys still no imune. Itachi always do genjutso even agains groups, even with finger or crows.. he did with his subordinates in the past simultaneously. Jiraya that is bad in genjutso froze multiple pains, itachi litteraly can do so much brain damage that kills. Even they are bodys, they need brain to work.
Also he can send explosive clones for each path, and use alot of kids of shurikens from blind spots, that can't be avoid to create openins.
