I have to be honest,.... I'm here for the nature shots, that you often so perfectly share with us. It is inspiring and it relaxes me. I once send you a comment that your video had 7 commercials in a 20 minute video. I don't have the illusion that you remember that, but I was just trying to say to you that I couldn't enjoy your video that way. It is the road in between that you are looking for I think, and your transparency and honesty is admirable! Personally I'd rather look at one short niche related sponser add, then 7 or 8 RUclips "interference" adds, that gets you out of the vibe of the video in the end. Life is a balance. You move in the directions that work and away from those that do not. It takes money to be in the game, but my sense is that money is not the game for me. It is always difficult being an artist and a business person at the same time. The market will always be a push as you seek what works. My chosen way is to realize and work from the idea that if it is not working for all of us, it is not really working for any of us. Using that as my guide, my goal is to know that when this round is all over, I want to know that I have been a 'net producer' in life rather than a 'net consumer.' We all have our own way and it is just easier when you really know what your way is.

I guess the Swedish word “Jante” is a one aspect of what you are talking about. I consider myself to be a simple and humble man but I have never liked that word or what it stands for. People such as yourself that have put a lot of effort and believe into ending up where you are now should be “rewarded” for that effort in some way and if that “reward” is in having the opportunity to work with sponsors to make your life a little bit easier to be able to create even more good content that is a good thing! Don't apologize for earning money. We all need it. It's better to have a proper sponsor (ex. drone company for those awesome nature shots), then to throw a bunch of random ads not related to the channel (cuz they will be related to the user). I wish you (and your channel) a partner (sponsor) that can actually help with simple life approach, and which can also educate us viewers :)

I watch through all their presentations of sponsors because of how up-front they are at the beginning of the video of the sponsorship, and because the products and services they promote are ones they value/use themselves. In a world of slick and manipulative sales pitches, they are a breath of fresh air.

I have to be honest,.... I'm here for the nature shots, that you often so perfectly share with us. It is inspiring and it relaxes me. I once send you a comment that your video had 7 commercials in a 20 minute video. I don't have the illusion that you remember that, but I was just trying to say to you that I couldn't enjoy your video that way. It is the road in between that you are looking for I think, and your transparency and honesty is admirable! Personally I'd rather look at one short niche related sponser add, then 7 or 8 RUclips "interference" adds, that gets you out of the vibe of the video in the end. Life is a balance. You move in the directions that work and away from those that do not. It takes money to be in the game, but my sense is that money is not the game for me. It is always difficult being an artist and a business person at the same time. The market will always be a push as you seek what works. My chosen way is to realize and work from the idea that if it is not working for all of us, it is not really working for any of us. Using that as my guide, my goal is to know that when this round is all over, I want to know that I have been a 'net producer' in life rather than a 'net consumer.' We all have our own way and it is just easier when you really know what your way is.

One thing that I really like about the Almazan kitchen channel is that they sponsor their own channel with the sales of their handmade products like knives and wood cutting boards so they can maintain control of the quality of the product and their own channel branding. They have been insanely successful on both selling merchandise and their videos.

I guess the Swedish word “Jante” is a one aspect of what you are talking about. I consider myself to be a simple and humble man but I have never liked that word or what it stands for. People such as yourself that have put a lot of effort and believe into ending up where you are now should be “rewarded” for that effort in some way and if that “reward” is in having the opportunity to work with sponsors to make your life a little bit easier to be able to create even more good content that is a good thing! Don't apologize for earning money. We all need it. It's better to have a proper sponsor (ex. drone company for those awesome nature shots), then to throw a bunch of random ads not related to the channel (cuz they will be related to the user). I wish you (and your channel) a partner (sponsor) that can actually help with simple life approach, and which can also educate us viewers :)

I watch through all their presentations of sponsors because of how up-front they are at the beginning of the video of the sponsorship, and because the products and services they promote are ones they value/use themselves. In a world of slick and manipulative sales pitches, they are a breath of fresh air.

As my grandparents came from horse breeders and farmers in Sunne, I would like to hear what your ancestor's lives were like and how you think of them as you make your lifestyle choices. Living in Chicago, I feel like I have been able to hang onto a few of their recipes, holiday traditions, linens and tools, but I also cherish their values of self-reliance, waste avoidance, family warmth and the importance of having good friends over for food and games.
