The crime I would get away with, after consideration, would be to create fraudulent legislation in every country that uses fiat currency to eradicate their central banking system and require governments to use durable commodities as currency backed value stores. (Be that a precious metal or something else)
"Not a leftist" but would abolish private property via cybercrime. This is the first time I've walked away from an interview learning nothing more, but being incredibly interested in the answers.
Great show! I had Sailor Moon. Wish I still had it for the collector's value too. We were in a game of World of Darkness Changeling when it first came out, and one of the players did her best to turn it into a Sailor Moon game (lol). So when the actual rpg came out, I got it to run for her (because let's face it: Changeling 1st edition's system sucked).... and our group broke up. I'm blaming sailor moon for that (lol)
Personally i think dnd has terrible combat. I prefer systems with narrative weight where not only your rolls but your declarations matter. Only thing for that in dnd is the advantage system. And is really shallow. BITD do it better. Best combat i ever had would be in diceless systems like Amber or Nobilis. Fast, dynamic, interactional.
Probs my favorite interview so far since Baron got a very interesting take on everything! And Baron not well-dressed and without glasses was quite a sight!
@DexSaveDan Probably on par with the real world. Perceived as tools for use and not living beings that want to do their own thing... also, TTRPG players struggle with gauging what even IS an animal. Like when players will ask things like, "Can I have a pet goblin/dragon/fairy?" and I have to explain, "So... that is actually slavery because those are sapient beings..."
@DexSaveDan Honestly, it never really comes up in game unless a Druid or nature guardian/god exists. Like we rarely are digging into the concepts of animal cruelty or the inherent cruelties of industrialized agriculture. At most, we will debate stuff like is it ethical to kill a giant spider that is opperating on instinct and just moved into the forest at the edge of the village? Every once and a while, we will have meta debates about the concept of an intelligence Stat and how it carries a lot of baggage. We often judge an animal's right to exist based on perceived similarities to human intelligence.
I mean that giant spider doesn't deserve to die whatever the situation though, right? Barring an immediate threat to your own or another's life. Stats make no difference either as no characteristic should impact a sentient beings right life. How do you deal with a character that morally values animals lives less than that of their own? Is that just part of the game?
I think this is a testament to the power of roll tables. Long live randomization. Another great interview DSD.
Thanks!! Hopefully so many more to come!!
Enjoying the channel. I think Jacob from XP to Level 3 would be a great guest.
Great suggestion! A few more to come so keep em peeled!!

Can the "something else" be white dog hair? We've got loads of that!!
Seeing Baron without glasses is weird.
Lost them on that stretch of the I40!😮
love these interviews and hoping to see one with Professor DM!
I’d love that!
You never know!!!
4e was definitely superior than 5e for combat (4e is just a better 5e for that matter)
I don't even know if this is a spicy take anymore.
I hadn't come across Baron before, thanks for introducing me!
Ah I'm happy I could introduce you to him. @dungeonmasterpiece go subscribe.

Glad you enjoyed it??
DSD: Could an alien 👽 make a ghost 👻?
Me: At my table, yes 👍
Good answer!!!!
Finally, an answer to the question that has vexed philosophers for centuries: How tough would a wedding cake be if you met one in combat?
We do all need to know. I ask the tough questions.
Another truly epic interview!
Thanks!!
You're an awesome host dude
You're awesome!!!
@@DexSaveDan no you're awesome.
Is this going to escalate to a fight??
P.s. you're more awesome

I feel like I should be playing the Sailor Moon RPG!!
Do you plan on changing some of the questions on the list that have already been used?
Yes at some point that will happen. Will definitely be open to suggestions.
Based Baron.
I was surprised Baron considers 5e the best combat. I agree... but I'm surprised.
I love this format btw
Interesting, right? Thanks @direden. Thanks, more to come!!
I don't agree at all. But I was also surprised.

I enjoyed 5e when the rules were more streamlined. With the introduction of game designers from Paizo, I find D&D 5e to now be crunchy and clunky.
Lots of details with this dispose the body question. Hmmmm....
Baron de Ropp is awesome!
Loving his interviews as well!
Love the question tables!
Looking forward to whoever is next!
Sailor TTRPG that is cool!
AD&D 2e :o
24 that is a hard one
Baron the Gnome Illusionist

Yeah🤘
Yaaassss!!
Which Addition? 😂
Lesson learnt on that one.
@@DexSaveDanExcellent video to be clear and wonderful job.
21:52 😂
I know right?
Noice
Baron is the king!
No, he's a Baron.
The Baron? Hell yeah!
Absolutely!!
As a person who knows a bit about the dairy and meat industry, both of your answers for being a cow are horribly incorrect.
Fair comment @kid14346. What are your thoughts on the treatment of animals in TTRPGs?
@DexSaveDan Probably on par with the real world. Perceived as tools for use and not living beings that want to do their own thing... also, TTRPG players struggle with gauging what even IS an animal. Good answer. So are there NPCs in your game that would react to a player eating/mistreating/enslaving an animal? Would there be confidences?
