Just replaced mine today. Ordered a new charge port board, suction cup pliers (for phones/tablets), and new adhesive on Amazon. Followed the steps in this video, and it works like new again!

every Samsung phone I've ever had gets this problem. my current galaxy note 20 started doing it the same year I bought it. seriously embarrassing for Samsung. why remove the headphone jack if the charging port doesn't even work? probably never buying a Samsung again I'm tired of wasting my time trying to get my phone in that perfect sweet spot just so it'll take 6 hours to charge
Definitely. I didn't realize they took away the earphone port until after I bought it. Constantly charging the phone. Constantly charging earbuds. And now the charging port won't even keep a good connection, so I think it's charging when it's not. Real nice waking up in the morning to your stupid phone being at 31%. PLUS on top of that, the camera on the phone sucks. The salesperson told me the camera was the best, but after getting the phone I researched it and found out there was a huge scandal about the camera not getting a good focus. NEVER bellieve the salespeople. Do your own research. And most definitely, Galaxy S20 is THE WORST PHONE I'VE EVER HAD.
Just had my port replaced but now won't read my Sim card. Took it back to the repair shop and they tried another port but same problem. My Sim card works in other phones though. Tried my wifes sim in my phone, still nothing... Any ideas??

so you have a 4g model and the one you are looking at 5g charging port..it is better if you can replace the same one..if you can't find it, send a message on info@jstechstore.com.au , we can arrange you a one..

Is the charging cable supposed to make a "click" sound and lock in place on this model? Mine doesn't and the cable is loose and can disconnect easily.
