A good quick guide , some important parts were left out imo but they can be easily learned by reading the guidebook (how to determine the winner for example)
We found this super helpful, thanks! Some things that were either not in the video or that we all missed while watching it was the starting resource on each board, and the specificity that only brown/gray/board (non-monument) goods may be bought and must be paid using start-of-turn money. If there is a revision, I would suggest checking for those.

Thanks for guide, but could you clarify one moment. About case with something like “clay pit” which could produce ore OR breaks. On what exactly moment, i need to make decision about what will be produced? Means - if i don’t like to give for my neighborhood ability to by ore - could i say it will be breaks only, or something like this?
You get to make the choice each turn but can only use that resource once, like all resources. Your neighbour also gets to choose if they're buying that resource from you. What they want to buy has no effect on what your mine does on your turn. So you can use the pit for clay on your turn, but your opponent can pay 2 coins to use it for ore aswell.
Randomly shuffle the Clay, Wood, Stone, Ore, Glass, Loom, and Press cards of Age 1 and deal one card to each player. The player gets the board which has the same starting resource as the dealt card.
I have always been confused how or when you gain the yellow card content? It didn't say when it talked about yellow cards, it did for the blue ones (end of game)
This was very much needed but you didn't clarify something: If I have to pay 2 or more resources to build something, how do I do that? There isn't anything that keeps count of my resources to begin with...
You can only build this stage if you have two Ore so one from your board for example AND one from your resource (if you have one) or from your neighbor that you have to buy (if they have one). If you don't have a second Ore, then you can't build this stage :)
You must explain which cards are best to choose, why should one discard a particular card, which card should you hold on to , etc. Which cards are more advantageous ones to have ?
After playing this game multiple times I still do not have a solid grasp on the Alpha, Omega, or Alpha Rainbow card. The explanation seems overly convoluted. We've tried to discern the intent trying to make sure the interpretation does not make that wonder stage too OP. We, the playing audience, really need a very solid, detailed example of how this game mechanic works.
Here are some information about these effects: - The Alpha Effect (on Olympia Night side, first stage): the "First card free to construct" is referring to the very first card you choose at the start of an Age (from your initial hand of cards). During each Age, you do not need to own or buy any resources to construct this card. If you manage to construct this Wonder stage during Age I, you can therefore construct 2 cards for free: the 1st card in Age II, and the 1st card in Age III. If you choose to construct a Wonder stage or to sell the card instead of constructing it, you lose the effect for the current Age. - The Omega Effect (on Olympia Night side, second stage): the "Last cord free to construct" is referring to the sixth card card in the Age (in the base game) and not the card you discard. During each Age, you do not need to own or buy any resources to construct this card. If you manage to construct this Wonder stage in Age I, you can therefore construct 3 cards for free: the last card in Age I, the last card in Age II, and the last card in Age III. - The Rainbow Effect (on Olympia Day side, first stage): Only the first Age card in each color that you don’t already have in your City is constructed for free, regardless of the current Age. If you have already constructed a Blue card in your City, you cannot use this effect to construct a Blue card. Does that answer your question?
@@ReposProduction Just saw this response so apologies for being slow on my appreciation for the feedback. This response very much helps for Alpha and Omega cards. We're going to have to pull out the game this weekend and do some research. If I gain any insights I'll post here. The Rainbow Effect I believe is also completely answered, although I think the directions are clearer on this one. I was typing up an example and scratched it because what you have above is perfectly fine. OK, I have some homework to do. Much thanks.
I'm grateful that you've made such a complete tutorial without wasting anyone's time.
Thanks in advance.
i agree

Just played my first game with two others. We stumbled through thanks to this guide! Thanks!

Best game tutorial I've ever seen!!! Thank you.
Amazing tutorial. I would definitely love to learn all games from your guides.

i agree it was poretty godod
So before you choose to build a card, can you see what it is first? Or are you committed to building it if you reveal what it is?
When you choose to build a card, it comes from your hand so you actually know what you're going to build :)
@@ReposProduction oh yeah, derf. Thanks!

Are you taking turns to play the cards and then once everyone is done that round you move to the next round ?
Why is there no wonder mini cards to shuffle at the beggining of the game to randomly deal the wonders?
They decided to get rid of those, don't know why
@@UNIVFranco how are we supposed to be shuffling all the big boards now?
@@pavelgeorgescu7442 I guess just randomly assigning them, they should have left the cards tho, imo

You just count how many icons of that resource you have in your city.
Agreed
I don't understand what stages are. How can one construct a stage?
If my wonderboard has Ore and my stage asks for 2 ore, is that stage built for free?

I purchased this game 2 years ago, and I tried a few times to figure out the rules and .... just can't get it
Is this narrator the kurzegstag guy?
No
Is this for second or first edition?
Looks like the second edition
I need more clarification about the effects!!!
You have a extra sheets, which tell you about it
You must explain which cards are best to choose, why should one discard a particular card, which card should you hold on to , etc. Which cards are more advantageous ones to have ?
That's half the fun. It's for you to find out!
Why does the 7 player cards say 7+, can you play with more than 7 players?
No I think it is just for continuity

The game is for 2 to 7 players .... epic fail from the word go 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Epic comment fail. 7 wonders duel was made for 2 players. The base game is for 3-7. Right on the box.
Just can’t resist putting distracting background music on these things, can they? Ruins it.
