I would be super grateful if you could like (or dislike) and subscribe ✌🏼
This video shows how I make a console table from a reclaimed scaffold board inspired by a $2000 dollar design.
This is a simple build and can be achieved with basic tools. When working with scaffold boards I like to rip them in half to approx. 105mm before any planing etc. Scaffold boards have a tendency to cup so by taking this step it significantly improves the chance of the wood remaining more stable and flat. The top I made to 90cm x 30cm, the legs are 10cm planks and the total height of the console table is 75cm.
I am new to being on this side of RUclips so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Happy to help where I can if you plan on building something like this yourself.
You can purchase this very table here -

Your videos are coming along nicely! Keep up the good work! My only suggestion is to maybe add a cut list and materials list! Thank you!

@@antoniomunoz3581 hahahaha Its just like baking a cake, A recipe is way easier than starting from scratch. With wood working, of course all it takes is to see something to be able to replicate it, but its the skill and experience that sets everyone apart. The title to the video is DIY, as in DO IT YOURSELF, so its absolutely not unreasonable to ask for a detailed cut list, especially if its exactly what you're looking for. Of course i could stop the video and make my own measurements, (which i did no problem at all...) But my comment was to help the content creator get more views, viewers, and subscribers. Even this comment alone helps the algorithm and that's the whole point here isn't it? to help other people and learn. This guy has some quality content, and some serious skills, so why not try to learn more from him? if you're a woodworker too and are worried about "losing business" or something, and that's the reason you cant fathom making a cut list for someone, then that's the wrong way of thinking of things. If I saw something, I don't think "I'm going to copy it exactly" I would make it better to my skill level , and that sets my work apart from others, just like most occupations on this planet. Get with the times or get passed up... CHEERS!!!

Good video. What's the name of the screws you use to attach the legs to the top?

I love it. But my personal opinion, which I know isnt worth much, is that is a VERY different table than the one that is 2 grand. Very different style and look. I like them both tbh. I love your version. But I have to say, the look/style/aesthetic is very different.

Totally agree! I just wanted it to be more rustic looking which is more mine and my customers style 😊
