    Your videos are very much informative. It's really great effort by you. But in this video the liner of b&w engine, I have doubt. The picture u showed is loop cooled cylinder liner by wartsila.

    I have a question on bore cooling.my question is "why jacket temperature to be maintained at a level in engine stopped condition?"

      Hello Jaber!!!
      Jacket temp is need to be maintained around 70-75 degree Celsius to avoid thermal stresses and to prevent cracking of cylinder liner due to thermal stress if not maintained.
