    You're spot on reviewing the food ignoring credit. The fish and chips looked awful.

      They don’t know your using F&B credit when you order so only fair you judge them on a full price meal 🤷🏼‍♂️

    God the donuts looked really nice, can't be too much jam. I usually end up with jam on me.

      Definitely the most filled donut I’ve ever had

    I'd imagine that Fontainebleu has more energy in the morning because people gravitate toward center strip at night. In the morning people are waking up and filling the lobby/curious people are heading up to FB in the morning/daytime to check it out for a little. It's probably pretty empty at night because people would rather spend their nights at center strip - including guests who stay there.

      Yes 100%, you get a lot looking around and visiting the food court for lunch and lots of conference staff. Seems the evenings you get people visiting for dinner and a little gamble but they don’t stay all night and so past 10pm it does get quiet during the week especially.

    I appreciate your honest review of restaurants and don’t just say it’s great. I agree that fish was not appealing. I’m from Newfoundland and love good fish and chips

    Great vlog again, the fish and chips looked ridiculous I wouldn’t have been happy with that either. Some good wins in Park, well for you anyway. 😂

      Thanks bud, yer not like fish and chips you get back at home 😂. Emily never seems to win at Park MGM I’m surprised she keeps wanting to stay there!

    Hell yeah! I wake up, fix myself a coffee, and I see you have released the latest. It helped make a dreary rainy Saturday morning very enjoyable. I am seeing a pattern with the meals at Fontainebleau. A friend left there yesterday and had the same experience. BTW, you rock the plaid and cowboy boots. Really enjoyed it!

      Yes was a shame the food wasn’t up to much. Thanks, I love wearing it, makes me feel a little bit country 😂 thanks for watching and hope the weather clears up for you this weekend!

    I’m so glad you put that caption about looking older, when it first came up I said Jesus he’s had a rough night 🤣How did your beard turn grey over night 😮 doesn’t say much about the pizza if it was better the next day cold

      I don’t like cold pizza usually. Something’s not right when you prefer it cold than fresh. No idea why I woke up looking like George Clooney 😉😂

    Cracking streams and thanks for sharing your adventures this journey - we're just planning our May 2025 and lots of inspiration through these latest streams. Couple of questions if you could cover off in your wrap up Q&As in a few weeks if I could:
    - What phone do you use for recording and what other kit do you take with you as essentials for your trip from a vlogging perspective?
    - Although we've been to Vegas once before, we didn't take advantage of all the membership rewards so we're starting afresh on this next trip with all the knowledge we've gained. Other than MyVegas app, what are the essentials to maximise your money in Vegas.
    - If you've used MyVegas for comp nights; are the hotel usually OK with you linking 2 bookings together? Do you know if there's any limit on the number of incentives you can use on MyVegas (we're point building at the mo and have about 200k points each).
    Cheers in advance - from a fellow Northerner (albeit t'wrong side of the Pennines) who has only managed to escape a couple of hundred miles so not quite Dubai!

    In no world am I ever paying 30 bucks for fish and chips. And if that fish turned up to my table for $10 I’d be sending it back. Mental. What a rip off.

    • @roamingnewroutes
      @roamingnewroutes  3 дня назад +1

      Yes it was hands down the worst fish and chips in terms of value for money I’ve ever had. To think it was more expensive than Gordon Ramsay’s as well. More meat on a goldfish!

  • @wavesoffury2943
    @wavesoffury2943 2 месяца назад +1

    Sounds like The Tavern needs to get shamed on social media again like they did with their nachos when they first opened. For $23 you used to get 6 individual nachos. Now for the same price you get a pile of them, the toppings are layered properly, and even though I hurt myself eating them, I still couldn't eat them all.

    • @roamingnewroutes
      @roamingnewroutes  2 месяца назад

      The fish and chips portion was crazy. More meat on a goldfish than what they served. Food in FB overall we found to be poor unfortunately

      That's unfortunate... Fontainebleau has become one of my favorite properties now because of their nice rooms and good rewards program.
      As far as restaurants go, all of the cheaper promenade options I've tried (El Bagel, Capons, and Miami Slice) have been great. Expensive for what they are, but probably similar to any other nicer hotels on the strip.

      @@wavesoffury2943 I did the food court every day on my solo trip in April and agree those options are great. Miami slice was amazing. The hotel and rooms are awesome, we’re back again in July and looking forward to it
