Everything about the place was fantastic and we definitely recommend trying it out one day - still thinking about the burger and salad! I (Dave) am becoming a fan of bubble craps, but I have to tell y’all (spoiler alert)…I ran my winnings back through 🤷🏻♂️. I am still learning and it was a blast! Hope to see y’all out there one day!

Pallazzo/Venetian has always looked like a great resort. Hard to go from our traditional resorts because we know where everything is located so we never get lost. I had a bad case of Plantar Fascitis in Vegas once and on the first day there, painful trip. Didnt know what it was until I researched it when we got home. Wife brings heels for when we go out for a formal/dress up dinner for our Anniversary. She always brings those foldable/roll up flats in her purse. I am practical/comfortable type for dinner, slacks, jacket and COMFORTABLE semi dressy shoes. I now have high arch inserts in all my shoes, helps keep the plantar fascitis in check.
Gove Wally’s a try. Their beer and cocktail menu looked good too! This year we made it a goal to try new things, but we’re very much like you guys with resorts and comfort. We like to stay center strip and rotate between Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio, Park MGM. I will say the N. Strip is quickly becoming our favorite area. We’ve stayed at the Palazzo, RW, and Encore. Loved them all. The fontainebleau would be a great spot too! We’re creatures of habit but glad we ventured out to experience them!

Hi Again David & Sonia , Palazzo is indeed cool w/ nice rooms for sure. We stayed 7 days at Resorts World and were put off w/ their restaurants; unfortunately had bad experience at Wallys which is a bummer ; so expecting so much more from them. Good that your time at Wallys was favourable. Because of our food experience we won’t be back at Resorts World ; that being said our Conrad Room w/ pool view was pretty awesome. Nevertheless, being a chef I expect so much more from Vegas Restaurants cuz of being overpriced. You know how you find yellow rubber ducky’s on cruise ships ; we should think of something that us Vegas Group should find a specific spot around Vegas each couple can find and then replace it for the next couple lol. Hey, Anna! Yes, we keep a gambling budget and a food budget. We try to plan out which ‘fancy’ restaurants we’ll try before each trip and which quick-service we’ll hit up throughout the day. We also try to make the most of food & beverage credit and use that to help with the cost of some restaurants!
Hi James! We recommend so many resorts so it depends on who is going? Kids as well? Great, affordable resorts that are center strip are park MGM, Planet Hollywood, the Horseshoe, and the Mirage. If you want to spend a little more, I would recommend Cosmo, Bellagio, Palazzo, and Wynn. We always fly Southwest. They seem to have lower fares (especially if you book early) and they don’t charge bag fees for 2 bags per person! Let us know if you need more specifics! Happy Planning!

I miss the Riviera- The comps were amazing and I always seemed to have good luck in that casino. The pool was pretty good especially when the weather was hot and the music was loud, they never seemed to mind us bringing in beers from the ABC store on premises.
Yes! SOoo many memories at the Riv! We used to go to Katies (I think thats how you spell it) for breakfast and loved the comedy shows. We never got to see Crazy Girls or the Amazing Johnathan. It was a great, classic Vegas, spot.
My dad lived a lot of his childhood in Fontainebleau France - the pronunciation would actually sound more like "Fawn Tan Blow" than ending with "bleugh" or "blew" - a lot of people think it's meant to be "blue fountain" but it's actually "fountain of beautiful water" so "belle" and "eau" (pronounced like the letter "o") pushed together at the end

Dave, whenever you play bubble craps, Always take odds as the odds are some of the best value in Vegas. The only time you don’t take odds is when you don’t wont to bet any more on the number.
I will definitely try it out! For as long as we’ve been going to Vegas, I have never played craps. Bubble craps seems to be the easiest way to learn.

Palazzo is indeed cool w/ nice rooms for sure.
We stayed 7 days at Resorts World and were put off w/ their restaurants; unfortunately had bad experience at Wallys which is a bummer ; so expecting so much more from them. Good that your time at Wallys was favourable. Because of our food experience we won’t be back at Resorts World ; that being said our Conrad Room w/ pool view was pretty awesome. Nevertheless, being a chef I expect so much more from Vegas Restaurants cuz of being overpriced.
You know how you find yellow rubber ducky’s on cruise ships ; we should think of something that us Vegas Group should find a specific spot around Vegas each couple can find and then replace it for the next couple lol. I was there 2 weeks ago and never won more than 70 bucks, terrible luck that trip but we got a few free drinks so i was telling my friend that makes me feel better like i at least got sooooomething for all the money I lost 😆
Lol! Yea, no more cute shoes when we know we’re walking a lot that day! Trust us, we’ve had similar gambling days where nothing is working. Getting ‘comped’ drinks does help the pain though!

Hey, Anna! Yes, we keep a gambling budget and a food budget. We try to plan out which ‘fancy’ restaurants we’ll try before each trip and which quick-service we’ll hit up throughout the day. We also try to make the most of food & beverage credit and use that to help with the cost of some restaurants!

Hi James! We recommend so many resorts so it depends on who is going? Kids as well?
Great, affordable resorts that are center strip are park MGM, Planet Hollywood, the Horseshoe, and the Mirage.
If you want to spend a little more, I would recommend Cosmo, Bellagio, Palazzo, and Wynn.
We always fly Southwest. They seem to have lower fares (especially if you book early) and they don’t charge bag fees for 2 bags per person!

I miss the Riviera- The comps were amazing and I always seemed to have good luck in that casino. The pool was pretty good especially when the weather was hot and the music was loud, they never seemed to mind us bringing in beers from the ABC store on premises.
Yes! SOoo many memories at the Riv! We used to go to Katies (I think thats how you spell it) for breakfast and loved the comedy shows. We never got to see Crazy Girls or the Amazing Johnathan. It was a great, classic Vegas, spot.

My dad lived a lot of his childhood in Fontainebleau France - the pronunciation would actually sound more like "Fawn Tan Blow" than ending with "bleugh" or "blew" - a lot of people think it's meant to be "blue fountain" but it's actually "fountain of beautiful water" so "belle" and "eau" (pronounced like the letter "o") pushed together at the end
