Out ice fishing Minnesota pre-Thanksgiving for pike and bass with @ndyakangler honestly thought we could get a little deeper than 9/10 feet of water. Our first ice fishing trip of the year was REALLY sketchy with snow covered ice and one punch through with the spud bar! Be safe out there early ice - I would advise waiting for colder temps unless you are seasoned and safe!
