  • Whopper Plopper MUSKIES below the SPILLWAY featuring ‪@ndyakangler‬ -- go hit up Matt's channel if you don't know it already!
Matt and I put our hands to the test against some muskie and pike. It was mostly the ndyakangler show as I was busy netting all his musky but made for a really fun quick couple hours of fishing the spillway before work - thank goodness he let me borrow his whopper plopper ar the end!

Let me know if you jumped and winced at that intro when the hook got buried in his finger!

I think it hurts more watching it now than it did at the time! Crazy what that big fish adrenaline rush does!

It makes me jump everytime I see it happen. My viewpoint I was just thinking.... "man I hope he knows what he's doing"

You guys need some hook cutters anytime they get close to the inside of the gill, cut cut cut. Also avoids hooks to the finger. Bigger net with rubberized net would be good. Hook cutters just are easier on the fish. The pressure these fish are getting now we need to spread the word on better handling.

Yep I went out and picked one up as soon as we got back to town! It definitely would have helped here, he had that one treble wedged weird into the bottom of his gill plate where I’d usually grab them.

White bass yes, a couple. I've seen some bluegill on the rocks dead, seen perch and maybe one crappie kayaking
