- Spring pike fishing locations are pretty easy to spot once you know where to look. Fishing for northern pike in spring is one of the best fishing opportunities of the year for numbers of pike and fast action. In this episode I'll dive deep into the locations you should be fishing for success during the spring fishing season.

I like that you used actual spots on your lake map and not drawings.
Well done good Sir. Solid video with real insights and lure/bait suggestions.
Thanks Anthony! I have plans with a fishing buddy to head up that direction in mid-May for what will hopefully be our own "pike-mania". Your info and tips have been invaluable to us! Looking forward to seeing your spring 2023 pike video!
Thanks for watching! Some of best action you'll get all year. Good luck!

Thanks ...caught em
Thanks i have caught pike in summer and fall but never spring
Weed line normally - depends on the water tho - do your home work and let that be your guide
Most of the lakes I fish in May don't have a weed line yet. 90% of the fish we catch are on shoreline structure.
Question for you: I fish on Lake Roosevelt in Washington. It is a dammed up river actually. The water level fluctuates about 80 feet throughout the year. It has a rocky bottom. Because of varying water levels there are no weeds in that lake. So, where should I look for Northern Pike? Maybe you can find a map of that lake on line??
Oof, that's tough. I get mad when the reservoirs around here are 8 feet down. If it's full I'd fish any shallow backwaters or points. Any large Boulders or timber in the water would be first places to fish. If the water is super low, any exposed mid lake boulders would be my first spot to check. If stuff like that doesn't exist, using sonar you'll have to find baitfish schools and throw cranks baits or small plastics around them to see if you can pluck a pike out. Slack water areas, next to heavy current are also good spots to check as pike will ambush disoriented baitfish in transition area.
Don't be afraid to cast into the shit
