Band members are essential but more essential is if they play the music and vibe which Canned Heat stands for, and that is boogie music. If you don't respect the passion and dedication of the current band members to keep Canned Heat alive, then what are you doing here except nagging like an old tart.
yes, when all original members are dead and the replacement players continue on with the necessary agreements in place to do so, it then becomes a cover band, like lynyrd skynyrd, ticket prices prob won't go down because of production cost tho.

Wrong.Frank Cook was the drummer on the first Canned Heat album but left the band when they bought bigger amplifiers and began to play LOUD.
