Typhoon Gaemi Brushes the Coast of Taiwan

In a surprising move, Typhoon Gaemi has decided to turn away from the coast of Taiwan and head back out into the Philippine Sea as a minimal Category 4 equivalent typhoon. This system is expected to loop back around towards Taiwan and possibly make landfall as a low-end Category 3 equivalent typhoon.

I see a pattern... 2023 had a category 4 landfall in mid july and the same happened now. Interesting

It’s probably having 2016 vibes. Maliksi being 01W, Prapiroon being Mirinae, and Gaemi being a mix of Nepartak and Megi. It also made landfall as a C3.
