Mawar was one of the strongest super typhoons to ever form in the month of may, and caused devastation in the island of guam. Also, sea surface temperatures in the Philippine sea are very warm. However, I could be wrong. The season is only just beginning, so how it's gonna pan out is anybody's guess.
Megi, Ma-on, Hinnamnor, Noru, & Nalgae were retired as a result of their impacts during the season. They will be replaced with Gosari, Tsing-ma, Ong-mang, Hodu, and Jamjari, respectively. Malakas was retired as it has an inappropriate meaning in Greek. It will be replaced with Amuyao.

well well well, it took forever but it finally came out. And while this is a high quality animation (good job nick) the animation itself is not the reason I am here. That would be because I want to relay a message to F13 itself. Now I would like to begin this very very long comment by saying the main point of this. F13 needs to change. And I don’t mean the project itself. I mean the effort and integrity of the team itself. What I mean by this is the sentiment that is shared by many people I know who were around in the 2019-21 era. What some say was the peak of the project. This sentiment is the fact that some people feel that the quality of animation, production, and the team as a whole has… decline since 2021. And I can see what they mean. The animation quality was still good and something I could deal with, and I’m not saying that everything is bad about F13s effort in recent times because that is not true. I will not shame anyone in particular for this, but some animations (like the 2022 WMHBs) seem rushed and not nearly at the level animations were at a few years ago. I remember back in 2020 when animation quality was simple but crisp, informative, and pleasing to look at. Now let’s look at some of the animations today. Animation with choppy icon movements and these big bright landfalls with gunshot sounds that just don’t feel like the F13 we know and love. I’m not saying landfall sounds are a bad thing, I actually liked the old ones from 2021, but I along with others don’t like the animating style of certain animators. And I am not trying to say they are “bad” per-say, more just like the quality is declining and even surpassed by some in the community. And some of them just don’t feel “right” if you get what I mean. But this is just the output, and if that’s declining that’s one thing. But then you have the input. And before I get into a more… controversial area of talk, I want to say that I do not wish any of the team members harm or anything of the sort, I only want this to be used as constructive criticism for the team to improve as a whole. Thank you. Now the team and the people on it aren’t bad people necessarily, i along with others just see them as a little… immature in a way that seems to make it so the level of production is lower. But that may just be me. Back during 2021, the team had so many iconic members who were immature in a funny way, not a way where the project itself was hurt. And this is crucial to the success of the team because it keeps fans involved in the community! I understand that you wanted to bring more contributors on the team to improve the project and community interaction, I think it’s cool that beloved people in the community get to work with the people that inspired them and show off their talents, it’s just bringing in so many can bring in some who may not be either as mature or as nice as the people back during the old process of selection. I’ve never been apart of the discord, but from some of the snippets I’ve seen it seems like immaturity and even some toxicity exists there which pains me to see this behavior not just present, but accepted and not really changed by the main team. All I want is to continue to see this team succeed. I’ve been apart of this community for almost 8 years now all because of how inspiring you have been and how incredible this project and it’s idea is. But the world is never perfect forever, at least not until you try to change things and realize that contributors are good, but not mandatory to run the project. Because you hire so many, you don’t get to know them and we don’t get to see them as much as some of the members of old, and I just want it to be said that this project in my and others eyes isn’t heading in a direction we like! You could choose not to do anything about this, and there isn’t anything I can do about that. But I can at least try to help the change be made instead of the opportunity to have something amazing be tarnished by the immature and overall less responsible people of the internet. Luzon Got hit alot of typhoons first Ma-On next Noru next Nesat and Nalgae and the central Philippines whick means Visayas got hit only 2 typhoons first Megi and Nalgae
