From a tape that had several Darkwing Duck episodes, A Pirates of Dark Water and back to the Future series. Not sure of the exact dates except probably 1991ish?
I remember The Disney Afternoon. Watched it every now and then. I get a kick out of all those toy commercials and all the gimmicks that the toys have. Geoffrey Giraffe in the Toys ‘R’ Us commercial sounds like Chuck E. Cheese. Who else thinks so? I so remember that Reese’s commercial.
This is a great video to sum up childhood back then! I had just entered first grade, and from the icons (Darkwing Duck, Super Mario World, Ren & Stimpy) to the "oh, I remember that" in terms of that Rubik's Cube spinoff and Surprise dolls, it really shows how much wonder and excitement there was around back then. I'll admit, the closing credits of that BTTF cartoon scare me a little bit, since you're used to a theme as well as the split-second appearance of the live action Doc, in addition to the sudden cut to the closing logos and then Biff, with the fast peddling after a steady start also getting on my nerves. I didn't really watch it back then, but I'm sure it would give me nightmares as a kid.
I remember these end credits and promos! DuckTales, End "Once Upon A Dime" promo "Dinosaur Ducks." Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, End "Gadget Goes Hawaiian" promo "Mind Your Cheese And Q's." TaleSpin, End "Flying Dupes" promo "Mommy For A Day". Darkwing Duck, End "Getting Antsy" promo "Night Of The Living Spud".
6:28, 6:52, 7:14, 7:37 looks like throughout the first four years the TDA episodes' original years of broadcast are what was shown before its trailers closed
Given that the Darkwing Duck ending was from "Getting Antsy" I couldn't agree more or less! I bet for newly run shows back then they must have had the newest trailers being "coming next day/week" airings sometimes.
1991-1992 was the debut year of Darkwing Duck and the final year of DuckTales on The Disney Afternoon. And I seem to remember that The Disney Afternoon was on KRON-TV 4 from 1990 to 1992, right before it moved to KBHK-TV 44 in the Fall of 1992.
In my area didn't pay much attention to The Disney Afternoon until 1994 but it aired on KSTW-11 before 1995 when it moved immediately to KTZZ-22(CABLE 10) until the block got finished.

I think that's Danielle Fishel (Topanga) in the commercial at 14:36. Probably one of her first acting gigs.

The Disney Afternoon was on Los Angeles KCAL (independent station 🚉 owned by CBS), Saturday morning cartoons ran on KABC and KCBS respectfully.
