Good idea blending it into a sauce. I love Chipotle peppers to.

Simple and good. I grow my own red ripe jalapeños via hydroponics indoors during the winter months, then smoke/dry them and use as needed. Some I'll process into chipotles in adobo sauce and freeze portions. The rest are just stored dry and rehydrated as needed. My favorite is a chipotle cream sauce over enchiladas.

Nice recipe. Love that brand of canned chipotle peppers. I’ll have to give this a try. I may add a shot of honey though. 👌

Thanks Tom this was EXCELLENT. So simple & so great. I've already made this 3 times. Its so great. The only minor change i made last time was i added some habaneros (4 i think) that i roasted (yes i like it HOT). The vinegar/water ratio was perfect. I don't like my hot sauce to vinegary. The only commercial hot sauce that compares is Tia lupita but it can be hard to find in my area

Hello Tom! My favorite hot sauce is the El Yucateco Chile Chipotle hot sauce. I buy it by the case! It is so expensive and not available locally. I was happy to find your recipe, but there's a problem. You don't have any sweetener in your recipe. I love thar EY's is SWEET & SPICY. I thought your recipe was a dupe for theirs. That's how I found this video. What do you suggest, please?

Sorry, I don't do sugar in my sauces or salad dressings. Life is better without added sugar. Happy cooking!

Will this chipotle be the same as what you marinate the tiger nuts in for carp fishing?

Lol, not the same but I'm sure it would work.
