New subscriber here. OMG! I just made this. It is better than anything in a can that I have tried. I did not expect the ginger. Good call.
I put one habanero in because I like it spicy. I am not disappointed. I will be making this again and again! Wow! Thank you for sharing this.

Dear Gloria, I made this yesterday, then used it to make sofritas and noodles with minced pork. The sauce is fantastic! This is my first time making Mexican food at home. Tastes so authentic! Thank you, Gloria!

How much do those chillies usually cost per pound? I live way north and it seems to cost me like 70$ for a pound.
    Great video/recipe btw!

This looks delicious, cant wait to try it. One question - it appears you used fresh bay leaves, is this correct? I have always used the dried bay leaves and have these on hand...is it ok to use dried bay leaves in this recipe or do I need to buy fresh ones?

It is very interesting that you put a small piece of ginger in your adobo sauce. I never would have thought about doing that because I would think that it is too sharp and may affect the taste. Do you put ginger in some of your other sauces as well?
