- A wonderful scene from Final Fantasy 13 (ファイナルファンタジーXIII)
Voice of Serah Farron - Minako Kotobuki ((寿 美菜子)
Voice of Snow Villers - Daisuke Ono (小野大輔)
Song is sung by Sayuri Sugawara (菅原 紗由理) called "Eternal Love"
Subbed by me
歌は菅原 紗由理のEternal Loveです。
Note: Just for those who might not have known, this game was made in Japan (JP). It's originally Japanese (日本語). Playstation 3 Кино
this is exactly why they call it final fantasy. This scene is real fantasy
Man, I actually got teary-eyed from this. I like the English version of this scene too, but replacing Eternal Love with Serah's Theme really took the magic out of it. Serah's Theme gives this scene a real solemn, sad tone to it-whereas Eternal Love is more hopeful, uplifting. Thank you for the upload. ♥
Thank you, I know what you mean.😭
amazing
I didn't really care about this couple until Snow says "Next year...Let's watch them again next year," and Serah turns around and just looks at him. So fucking beautiful. He seems like an idiot but he was the only person who ever truly gave her hope that she wouldn't turn to crystal or die.
I agree, also thanks to this scene I started to enjoyed a lot more and play with some motivation as well. Before it, I was like ' well this ff is noot that good, but not that bad' because I thought it will be pretty bad because critics. So far they still knows how to make wonderful games that makes you feel alive haha.
The irony of this comment is that she ended up doing both. 🤣
I LOVE THSI GAME AGHGGSJHH WHAT AM I DOING HERE 9 YEARS LATER
i would have preferred Japanese version over the english...
Oh i'm playing through the game on Steam and switched the language setting. It's way better and this scene just hits different. I wish SE spent the extra money to make an English version for this scene instead of just going with Serah's theme.
Started again the game from the beginning ; damn, I can't get enough of this scene
就算今时今日再看,这部游戏真的是很棒。音乐也很好听。每个角色都有属于他们独特的故事。忽然好怀念过去!
You make Serah and Snow more so sweet with this song
i think final fantasy franchise is one of the few games that dubbed really well
Snow has such a big heart. He’s a good guy.
this song just made this sound so enlightening, romantic, hopeful, sad and magical all at once.
Wow!! I sooo prefer this scene over the US version
Like beauty and the beast
I just love Japanese technology, they're just so creative.
I really like serah's theme but "eternal love" just works a lot better with this scene. I don't understand why they're so against using a different language's lyrics in another region's game.
The music made this scene 1000 times better. But we outside of Japan didn't experience it
Japanese games need to be JDM as well, not just cars. Heard the Asian region version got JP voice option with English subs. Snow was voiced by Ono who voiced Jotaro in JoJo.
2:05 God, the look on her face after he said that...That was the moment that cemented them as a couple in my mind.
This music is all about love and protecting the loved one, and this scene in particular is supposed to be upbeat, he wants to give her hope and confident, he is determined to keep his promises even though the hard times ahead, many defending the english one (which i think is good on its own way) but i don't agree, this moment should have a sad OST. I think this is the best fit for the moment, fireworks, promises, marriage proposal, hope is high and he should be optimistic! He should give her hope from all things, thats why he says they will see the fireworks next year, and no matter what he will always be with her. I love this version
dang this track was for the japanese version? imo sounds better than the na
okay so I'm crying. also, Eternal Love fits SO well
WOAH THEY HAVE DIFFERENT SOUNDTRACK FOR THE JAPANESE VERSION? HOLY both sounds awesome but this really capture this moments best !!
well, actually both are equally gorgeous with slightly different mood. This one (JP version) is picturing more to the excitement of their love and engagement, meanwhile the english version is picturing more of their emotional feeling that Serah are now L'cie and need to tell Lightning.
Language affects the mood too, the Japanese version is more suited to this song, meanwhile english version is more compatible with the main OST. so win-win, both are super emotional in different aspect.
Depends on which atmosphere do you like :), do you prefer the happy mood that they are now engaged (JP ver) or the emotional fact that they must face that Serah is a L'cie (ENG ver) ?
I honestly prefer this one, I don't say that the english version is bad but I really cringed a lot watching emotional love scene, this one is more enjoyable for me.
minako-chan!
This shit is so magical
This song is so much better than that English version's
Snow give her a promise that next year they will see the fireworks again. And you know, no more next year for serah. That is why serah kiss and crying
And the fact that he waited and hope for her to return is damn giving me butterflies.
Thanks ^.^
Special + secret = specret? =D
But really, it's a good thing they made an Asian version with Japanese voiceover + English subs. I always like watching things in their original language, even if you don't understand it. It's so much more expressive.
this is way too good!!
bought the game from steam last week, it was the Japanese version!! wooo
You can pick the language lol XD
@ArsenalReady You're welcome and It is! That's why I love this scene.
Jotaro being lovey dovey and happy sounds weird.
I love its moment
I never really got into FFXIII, so I just sold it. This is making me want to get a new copy (most likely Japanese) of the game. Thank you!
so you want it back again huh? lol
anyway even though it's not the greatest among the other FF but it's still a great game on it's own way hehe
Japanese is the best language :)
Doesn't have to be Japanese version, just select japanese at th e start launcher
Paradox Gaming This was a year before the PC version was even out.
I realized too late
This really is final “fantasy”
Japan
@SeraphimFaith I agree!
This is sounds SO much better in japanese. Even the song is completely different.

WOW O.O IS....So realist .
@bankbank1229 Please make sure you have "annotations" on (the little box next to 360 should be red).
THIS! *-*
This shit is classic
Pain
I like both the english and japanese versions for diffrent reasons. If you could have the start of the music from this and the last bit of music from the english version it would be perfect. The last bit of the English version has music where it has an up and down sound which really brings out the emotion in the scene really well. It's a real shame the Japanese version lacks that. A big issues with the English version is the music starts too late.
snow sounds 40 years old
probably my only favorite cutscene in ff13 when i used to played the game couple years ago on steam
It's my favourite cutscene too.. the OST is amazing
@@alexiluffy216 well it's the only good thing in ff13 is the OST
Ernest Wong i enjoyed the game tho.. tho i know that's controversial ahaha
@@alexiluffy216 now thinking about it makes me think if I should just finish up with lightning returns like I should just finish what I never finished in the 13 saga since I recently started playing ff games again since I'm currently playing zodiac age
Ernest Wong i'm playing lightning returns right now and enjoying it :D
Just remaster FFXIII for PS5 please.
@SakuraSan25 LOL, i know right...

robbe sei nervoso
Song is way better in Japanese ver
the greatest mystery on the internet. why so many english people love the japanese language even when they can't understand it.
nessun coinvolgimento sentimentale
Gotta say I really don't think this song works with the scene, it's far too upbeat. The song on the European version fits much better, so bittersweet like the situation they're in.
Same, usually I'm all for the Japanese version, but I think the English version of this scene is way better.
+VarynDEE 33 agreed the english version of this scene was better
I dont agree, sorry but I think this ver is better
kingpai pannathat the english one was more emotional and blemded in with what was going on, this version didnt
But Japanese ver is ORIGINAL and I like original stuff
Ohh what... the Japanese version is way better the eng ver and yet I really love the eng version...
insieme
in the english version Serah said "glorious" instead of "pretty", which is really weird. I wouldn't mind the dub if it weren't for the weird translations
She said "gorgeous" btw
nope, the means of "kirei" in japanese {the word that serah speak in this scene) is "pretty or beautiful" in english
so the translate isn't wrong..
NoelxSerah
i wish the FFXIII game i had was in Japanese. IT SOUNDS BETTER xD
I don't see sub
