Your living in a fantasy world. if the GTA was 1% of its current size, maybe such a transference would work. Your equation is flawed; more bike lanes DO NOT equal a proportionate increase in bicycle traffic. I've seen it myself in my own neighbourhood, the number of bike lanes was tripled with NO significant increase in bicycle traffic. Of course the city claims otherwise, but they've been measuring the bike traffic and REFUSE to release the figures because "reasons", so of course they now plan on converting road lanes to additional bike lanes because somehow that will reduce road traffic in a neighbourhood that's getting additional high rises. I myself used to bicycle to work, but my work was only 2.9 kilometres away, whereas my wife drove 40 kilometres to her place of work. The reality of traffic is NOT a hard concept to grasp. People will not bicycle long distances; and the elderly, children and the disabled are less likely to bicycle; also buses and trucks move on roads, not bicycle lanes. You could at least have said something about public transit instead of these mass bicycling fantasies.

On your license plate it says "Ontario yours to discover" which is a complete spit in your face it's only your to discover after you pay the government.
