Oh my God, she is WONDERFUL! What a legato, what a line, and such a creamy, effortless tone. And a brilliant actress as well! Thank you for this recording - "Senza Mamma" was part of my repertoire back when I could still sing, and so was Rusalka. Her performance of that aria is superb as well. I'm so thrilled to hear this exceptional soprano! Thank you!
Asmik Gregorian is a fantastic gift to the operatic world. A divine singer but also a first class actress. This is real interpretation of the material. Puccini should have break down in tears of emotion.
Her performance is unbelievably moving, heartbreakingly beautiful. Grief elevated to ecstasy, an impossibility, but she makes it happen.
This is just extraordinary - an absolutely complete and compelling performance vocally, artistically, and dramatically. I am in tears.
My jaw has dropped and I don't think I can ever pick it up again...
Today it is so difficult to find great voices, with beautiful color, morbidezza. She is amazing

Singing Turandot in 2024 at the WSO... I'm scared... Why not Liu? Such a gorgeous healthy voice...
I heard her - she was very very good. I was extremely sceptical I must admit (after being disappointed by her Lady Macbeth). But she surprised me (and many others in the audience). She never sounded overtaxed, the voice rode well over the orchestra and the top notes were very exciting. It was a different Turandot that one normally hears (more in the Sutherland mould) but nevertheless very convincing
That’s the first time I heard her live, and I nearly fell out of my seat several times she was so extraordinary. I’ve never seen such a brilliant performance. (I was skeptical at the casting and the production when I first saw, too).

Grande artista! Ma spezzare le frasi di puccini per un espressione "verista" ?
Lo trovo fuori stile.
L'ho notato anch'io e l'ho lasciato passare come un'interpretazione. È, ovviamente, l'opposto della Callas o della Scotto. Sembra già un desiderio di morte, ma non disperato, non appassionato, ma rassegnato.
Io penso che Puccini riserva alla disperazione piu profonda le linee di fraseggio piu chiare e "semplici" come all inizio
di "vissi d'arte" o " tu che di gel sei cinta" o sola perduta".. et ogni portamento o spezzamento disturba 🤷♂️
Disperatione al di la Dell'emozione, di ogni speranza
Quando una attrice sta sacrificando i sentimenti veri in nome di una interpretazione finta alla fine dei conti perde una gran parte della bellezza divina della sua voce …
E come attrice è poco convincente…
La Voce è uno strumento unico nella sua bellezza espressiva che non si deve sacrificare mai in nome di una “interpretazione “ moderna …

Lacks the style of Italian opera. This is not a German opera… the voice is suitable for Strauss, not Puccini
She apparently interprets the game differently. For me, it is wrongly thought here, because you cannot replace passion and despair with resignation and a longing for death. The conducting tears the aria into small morsels and takes away its flow. But I still find it an exciting interpretation. And especially as Senta - that is, in the German part - I didn't think she was good at all.
I Like it but there is not the legato that i wished to hear it. I Like the Version of JAHO much more
