This kit from replaces your factory clutch cable and quadrant with an adjustable version for a more precise feel. The factory quadrant has a self adjusting feature that can cause problems. This kit includes a new heavy duty cable, billet aluminum quadrant from Steeda and a firewall mounted adjuster to make adjusting your clutch a much easier project on your 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 or 1995 V8 Mustang with Manual Transmissions.

2:31 yup. I'm 6'3 and yes....get a long extension and a 5/8 deep wel socket. 4 bolts and out it comes.
glad i watched this video. im installing a whoe kit with firewall adjuster and wouldnt have known to put the cable on the lower fang closer to the firewall.
Dude bro is crazy strong
Does the Steeda upgrade get rid of that horrible Dog Bone Cable? If so, will it work on all Mustangs that had this? I have an 85 SVO and am sick of having this cable break and leave me stranded.
Where was the fire wall adjuster?
What are u supposed to do if you have a 79-81
👌 its a snap!!🍺
great video thank you
Thanks for the video! Now get some cleaner and clean up the engine bay and under the car! A Fox should never be allowed to stay dirty like this one especially when installing parts.
thank you
how much is a kit like this
$90 too $100 get one from American muscle.
Thank for the video now i can do it myself
Ha, don't show the hardest part; replacing the quadrant. Anybody who has to do one of these who owns a 79-93 like I do, have fun taking off the smaller plastic piece of the quadrant, and lining up and getting the new quadrant in. Smh how they made the video look 'so easy'....
The metal framework in the interior blocks it*
It's cake I can do them with just feel of fingers and pushing pins in
Oh sure you can buddy
You can especially after you done them in people's cars 😉
just did it the other day it wasn’t that hard just gotta get ur hands in the right position, took me about 3-4 minutes fighting around trying to slide the metal quadrant in just gotta find the sweet spot.
anyone in Baton Rouge that's familiar with this process?
We know damn well the owner didn’t do that
🇺🇲👏👏👏
